Hey dro-man i was showing these photos to autoflower.net and they are saying you have the lights on the left side higher than the left. In one of your photos thats exactly what it looks like. Is there a reason why they are higher?

    Dwc heat solutions?

The main problem people do not understand is that you must insulate whatever it is you want cooled down, this goes for just about everything. I have seen so many people complain about it not working when they just stick it in a bucket without proper insulation.

    Dwc heat solutions?

This is why its so important to keep your temps at a constant 66-68 degrees, LIKE THIS ARTICLE STATES. This is where a thermostat, ice probe or chiller come in. Chunking in ice and etc. produces wild swings from hot to cold and vice versa. Im not a botanist by any means but common sense tells me...

Indoor vs outdoor, which is better?

In optimal conditions in the perfect situation which is better in terms of yield, outdoor or indoor when it comes to autos? Im sure the plants love the sun more than indoor lighting HOWEVER the sun isnt on 18 - 24 hours a day. : )

    Dwc heat solutions?

Its rated as 60 watt however its powered by a 55 watt adapter, working great so far. Doesn't even run much, maybe 5 to 7 hours a day at most during the hottest day of summer. When you say chiller are you talking about a water dispenser? if that's the case then yea man what a waste..lol. I laugh...

CRI test and Mcree weighted results

You can pull out charts etc and talk about what plants like and dont like. Ide rather the plants tell me what they like. Below is one of many test runs between 80 cri and 90 cri. https://www.rollitup.org/t/one-more-run-with-the-cxbs-3000k-80-90-cri-qbs-are-next-in-line.938932/

    3.6 x 3.9ft light choice

Throw that hid idea in the garbage, get some cobs preferably cxb3590 3500k cd bin or some vero 29s. I did mh/hps and panels, so far nothing compares to cobs. Gvegas is right in that you will need 600 watt hid for that space. Cobs can do a lot more for a lot less of everything. No need to worry...

    How effective are carbon filters?

No smell here until you enter the room, However i bought a monster 24inch carbon filter for a small room. Bigger the better imo, the bigger it is the longer it last and it provides less resistance on the fan pulling air which cuts down noise and your electric bill. Had this filter for five years...

    Dwc heat solutions?

Here is my homemade one, two of these will cool an insulated reservoir up to 16+ gallons in the middle of summer. I always set my temps at 66-68F, you can set it lower or higher. Also has a swing adjustment if you prefer it to run every so often.

Ice probe + 5 gal cooler+ thermostat= end of heat problem

Here is the best possible way IMO to cool a small or large insulated dwc reservoir. No moving parts besides the fan and takes about 15 to 20 minutes to install. In the middle of summer at 100f it will run about 5 to 7 hours a day costing about $1.17 to run per month. I set mine at 66F and it...

    Dwc heat solutions?

Ice probe + cooler+ thermostat= end of problem 100+F in my garage and it only runs 5 hours a day or less costing about $1.17 a month to run the peltier cooler/fan. No fluctuations in temp, the reservoir stays at 66F no problems whatsoever. You can also make your own peltier cooler for around...

    Small Chiller Recommendations

They work GREAT!!!! I can chill a 5 gallon cooler to 66F with no fluctuations in the middle of summer in the garage. They are not hard to make or you can buy an ice probe on ebay but they are expensive, i have both pics listed below. It uses 55 watts and runs for about 5 to 7 hours a day in the...

Easy diy "laymens" coco coir ingredients from Fatman

How so? fundamentally flawed? Everything is spot on, harvest weight and plant health doesn't lie. Nute calculator also doesn't lie and pin points exactly whats in the mix. I know exactly what my plants are feeding on unlike commercial brands that require additives to make up for what they lack...

    Seed Storage

I couldn't agree more, I made a mistake of storing my whole seed collection in the back of the freezer right next to the defroster. Burnt my whole three year collection up, took me awhile to recover from some sort of mental breakdown. Another life lesson learned the hard way like everything else.

    Seed Storage

A seed is a living thing, it will consume its stored reserves over time if not properly stored. The only way to stop this process is to freeze them or you can significantly slow it down in the fridge. I have heard all types of rumors about loosing germination rates during the freeze and thaw...
