I never tried anything that grows underground. I imagine they want alot of space for roots etc. Chives might be good, you could toss them off to the side in a shadier area. Kale and chard are good for that too. Looks like a great garden, nothing beats eating (or smoking) your own stuff!

Ya there's clearly alot more than some weed going on here. I highly doubt they're being charged for the actual plants...I don't think the law can be applied retroactively like that.

Ya I believe there's something in the law about only being able to use 'approved' seeds sold by licensed vendors. I figure if I ever had an issue I could say I found a seed in some of my legally purchased government schwag and grew it out. I really think it will be one of those rarely enforced...

I used oasis cubes for years and they were always great, but for some reason I started having bad results with them...clones were taking too long and alot weren't rooting. I've since switched to good old fashioned peat pucks and have had no issues since. I soak them in tap water for 5 minutes...

I keep my MH conversion bulb in and keep feeding veg nutes for the first week or so. I find it helps to keep them shorter and loads them up on nitrogen for the weeks to come.
