Organics gurus...if you had to pick a line of chemical nutes...

I could be wrong there. I listened to a podcast about it the other day. I haven't looked into it too much. If I got the two confused sorry.

Canadian pot shortage could last up to three years, industry executives say

I think Ontario should have left the dispensaries that were already established open. Not close them for 6 months and fine them $250 000. If they are caught operating and ban them from ever getting a licence. It is BS.

Organics gurus...if you had to pick a line of chemical nutes...

I'm no guru but I'd like to try Veganix or whatever it's called by The Rev. It's mostly organic but has a tiny bit of chemicals. I believe it's silica.

Yeah can't tell yet. That's just new growth. And if it's at 18/6 I wouldn't be able to tell until flipped to flower. Some people can. But I can't tell till its starting to flower. Other guys can tell by preflower but I cant

    Flowering dry ammendments, how heavy?

I agree with you guys @ShLUbY @Greenthumbs256 and @Northwood . That is some great advise. I personally would add some kelp meal in with that top dress. I just started flowering a couple days ago. I am going to add kelp meal worm castings some liquid seaweed just because I have it.

what are some good flowering cycles?

Well from what I've read about different cycles like 24/0 or 18/6 for veg and 12/12 or 11/13 or 10/14 for flower. Most things I've read is people do that to save electricity. But in nature days are longer and shorter on a curve. So that's how the plant evolved. The sun doesn't stay up for 18...

    Canadian Winter what to do?

The other day I crushed up some lump charcoal and sprinkled it on top of my compost pile. Well on top of the snow on my compost pile and I'm letting it seep down into my pile as the snow melts. I figure it's something to do while I twiddle my thumbs getting ready for my outdoor grow next spring.

How much water to water a 5 gallon bucket?

@Kingrow1 That's cool. I'm not a tree hugging eco warrior. I was was just trying to get to the point that there is no need to flush organics. And there is no build up of contamination in an organic grow. I have no problem with any type of grow as long as it's not filled with harmful chemical...

    Cooking First Batch of Organics

This thread is great. I am currently using a Cootz style mix in two 15 gallon fabric geopots. And a Subcools Super Soil in two earth boxes. One earthbox is on its second round. I also have been using a product similar to EM1 and I have a bokashi and ewc mat of mycelium growing on top. I just got...

How much water to water a 5 gallon bucket?

@Kingrow1 It's cheaper, it's a personal preference. And the taste of the finished product is better. Higher brix. More sustainable. Environmentaly friendly.

How much water to water a 5 gallon bucket?

Flushing isn't required when growing in living soil. Flushing is only required when using chemical nutrients. They use salts because salts causes the plant to be (Thirsty) and drawn in more. So it akin to force feeding. The plant is getting the NPK it needs but the source is combined with salt...

    Mycorizzae In Action!

So fungal mycelium grows through out the soil and helps feed the roots by exchanging exudates from the roots for other nutrition. And mycorrhizae grows just around the roots and helps make nutrients more plant available by breaking them down. Please tell me if I'm on the right track
