you cant just stop feeding them for a week growing in coco, if your giving them MG give them 30% of your normal feed aswell and bump your ph up to around 6.3
you are growing in coco, you have to give them nutes every feed, you also need to water until you get run off, atleast 30%, dont let the plant suck the run off out of the saucer your plant is in, mop the run off up that collects in the saucer with a sponge, dont let your coco completly dry out...
i never reuse my coco for a few reasons
no 1, its cheap
no 2 its full of salts that have built up from the previous grow, and would take alot of effort to clean it, just running water through it is a waste of time, you have to agitate it at the same time
no 3 when you sieve it to get all the old...
you need to let the coco dry out a little while their small to get the roots searching for moisture, not completely or you will get salt build up, if you keep drenching the pots they will take days to dry out and you will starve the roots of oxygen
