3 lights:
For 32.0 sqft, used for 12.0 Hours a day, using 3.0 LEDS running at 620.0 watts with an efficacy of 2.5 pf
TOTAL LED PPF output of 4650.0 μmol/m^2/s in a space of 32.0 ft^2 or 2.972896 m^2
Daily Light Integral (DLI) @ 1ft = 68 mol
Totaling at 58 Watts/ft^2
Total Power consumption =...
just fyi! Coco by itself holds way too much moisture to be healthy for the roots/plants, that's why we amend it with 30-50% perlite. Otherwise it's a gnat and ugly roots fest
SAG is a brand, hes probably asking about their branded microbes...
Only thing i know is that above a the stated "high rate", you will get greatly diminished returns
Maybe your AC is not strong enough, AC's tend to dehumidify pretty good...
Otherwise just follow this guy's advice, buy a big dehumidifier and be done with it =]
I always thought it was genetically based, i've observed that sativa strains usually have large seeds, and indicas have small seeds. But if you're saying you got bigger seeds (randomly) out of a plant which you've already seeded before, that's pretty interesting...
what i've found is that the more branchy the plants are, the more they trade size for "flower spots"... So lately i've been trying to REEEEEALLLY clean them up just to make sure i dont get smalls
Hey Everyone! Hopefully you're all fine during this crisis. I used to post almost every day here, but life's been changing and now i'm working on something a little more serious.
So I'm about to design a couple of 100 SQFT grow rooms... And i'm trying to figure out the most efficient (high...
damn, with that skill i'd be building LED lights all day long, looks good
Since you already went the House Lights Route, i'd recommend you try some 3000K-3500K spectrum household LED bulbs, they're many times more efficient than any cfl bulb
Makes perfect sense man, such a simple solution
I also thought of a valve, or an air return line but i thought i was overcomplicating the issue... Which maybe i was doing lol
Ive had the same issue before, but im curious as to what you mean by "above the water line"?
And wouldn't that mean i'd end up with a water mess when the pump is on?
In my case i use strips, for a 3x3 tent, you need at least 270 watts of QB's... 300-360 watts sounds more reasonable though... Personally i wouldn't even hit 400W without CO2
1 ft or 2ft?
2ft makes sense but would be under powered (could get more light out of the strips).... you can run them at up to 1 amp each without cooling
18 will fit
I'd get a constant current 36 volt driver and run them in parallel (in groups of 2)
For Flowering 3000K is king, 3500K is still a good and balanced veg/bloom spectrum, but you're going to have to keep a couple things in mind when switching from the HPS mindset:
- More Cal-Mag (the spectrum stimulates consumption)
- More Leaf matter, Inter-nodal Stacking (again, spectrum)
-...
The HPS produces more light, but a lot of those photons are actually infrared.
But...
You can replace a 1K HPS (SE or DE) for 640W of bridgelux eb strips and distribute them as you see fit. That'd be 16 bridgelux eb (~13 us each), and a couple of low cost LRS-350-36 mean well drivers. It's...
