Too late to get benefits of transplanting?

An intelligent person places the 20 gallon pot into the larger container, or ground. Then he cuts the sides vertically, and pulls the resulting flaps down and cuts them off, leaving the old pot bottom in place. Then fill with fresh potting mix.

    Where to move up North

The Central Valley is among the best places in the World to grow weed. I saw my first 16 foot plant in 1967 in a cornfield in the delta. It stuck out like a sore thumb, but in those days, no one was looking.

    dealing with heat stress outdoors?

If adequately watered, Cannabis shouldn't show 'heat' stress.. If it was the upper leaves that turned curled and crispy, I say you fed very recently, and maybe a bit too heavily. My well watered plants increase growth rate enormously during 105+ degree heat.

Too late to get benefits of transplanting?

Transplanting(correctly) right now will add 25% to 100% to the yield. The pix to my transplanting methods, were lost. When transplanting, add a LOT of water and small amounts of nutrients to your planting mix. Place the 'depotted' plant in its final position and GENTLY pour the oatmeal...

    It's Sex ?

The only pic that shows a node clearly seems to show the beginning of male flowers, but I wouldn't bet on it. Try shooting and posting some clear shots of each node? I sex 50 to 100 plants each Spring. My first impression, at a very early stage is wrong about 10% of the time.

When to toss in some Fish Fertilizer, etc/. (pic)

When using soluble fertilizers like fish emulsion, water your plants before applying the ferts. This avoids a thirsty plant gulping up a lethal dose.

Plant topped itself ????? or bug at main stem

Could have been an early bud worm. They sometimes do some weird damage.

    Western Winds (Kali Mist)

I bred a Kali Mist x Afghani Kush a decade ago. I decided to try one this year. It's a monster, and should be excellent herb.

    Just transplanted

What day cycle were they on indoors? What is your day length now? If they were on an 15-24 hour day inside, they'll probably begin flowering. I keep my girls on a 14 hour day in the spring to keep, or return them to vegging. I wouldn't worry about it. You'll get a 'stretch' that will double your...

    2014 outdoor

I agree with FF. I experimented with under canopy lighting back in the florescent tube days. It didn't add anything in a closet painted flat white. Also, your planting mix has shrunk. I suggest you replant in the same pot(s) after adding enough soil to bring you plant level with the pot's rim...

    2014 outdoor

I'll say this. Perlite has no value in a soil with plenty of organics. It just 'helps'(wash your hard earned money away) drainage. In my opinion, most potting mixes are far too light. I use Ace Hardware's potting mix. It's about $3 per cubic foot and serves the purpose for starting and...

    Getting Rid Of Snails ?

Deadline is the BOMB. The snails in my yard have certain areas that they prefer. A couple times a year I surround them with a thin line of Deadline. The following morning it looks like Normandy beach the morning after D-day.

Getting too big and too tall

Get some heavy objects. Space them around your pot. Bend each branch over to the desired height, and tie it off the the heavy objects. Use a loose loop on each branch to avoid strangling the branch. Sometimes the branches are rigid and need to be adjusted several times to get them to the desired...

    how long left to harvest?

As I see it, you are going to get very little smoke for autoflowers. It looks like grower error, or the breeder blew it some how. Several of the pix show buds that are past making new flowers. A sign that they are nearly done. I use a jewelers 30x loupe, but a smart phone can zoom in to take a...

    Getting Rid Of Cats

Something that works very well, once in place. Get a roll of 2" chicken wire. 3 or 4 feet wide. Suspend it horizontally about 6" above the ground. Stretch it tight. No four legged animal will try crossing it more than once. Their instinct tells them it is a death trap if a predator comes by. If...

    is it true that..............?

Depends on how much you feed each time. I recommend feeding one third what is recommended twice as often. My plants are getting very large. I'm having a hard time feeding enough. LOL!

Cloning queries, would this be possible?

Agreed. Any direct sunlight would roast the cuts in a few minutes. Light doesn't kill them. Heat DOES. Indoors, under a hood with a large CFL works wonderfully.

    shade cloth question please

My greenhouses are packed with foliage and reaching temps of 130+. I believe they actually prefer the heat, as long as the roots are cool. When I planted them in April I mulched them heavily(6"+). Worms have pretty much eaten all the mulch, but the plants now put the soil in black shade...

uk outdoor grow 2014-The one we have all been waiting for!...

"Burning " isn't the word I'd use. The wilting is caused by the cutting's inability to draw up enough water through the stem to compensate for evaporation from the leaves. Using a clear hood over the tray of cuts will prevent wilting.. The cut will draw energy from the sun leaves to grow roots...
