    help cooling a greenhouse

You're going to like my advice. I have two greenhouses that regularly reach 130+ during 95+ degree days. The girls LOVE it. The only precaution I take is to keep a fan blowing air OUT of the greenhouse, drawing in cooler air thru ground level vents. Place your young plants at the intake end to...

    is july to early?

I'd go with a dozen plants. Sex them when possible and hope for 6 girls kill the boys, or make some seeds for next year. I hope the OP learned something about stealth.

    is july to early?

The young plants will naturally show sex in August, and bud normally. My plants are usually about 18" when they sex at the sixth node(mostly). With the stretch, they should get 3 feet tall. One to two ounces.

    Quick question for a newbie

I've been using greenhouses for over a decade. What are you going to skin your GH with? All my pix(thousands) in my grow threads were lost, due to some sort of crash here at rollitup, and I'm currently having 'puter issues. I'll try to answer any questions. Be patient, I'll get back to you...

HUGE PROBLEM. White Leaves, Black Spots !?!

It looks like chemical burn(fried leaf) along with possible water drop lensing(small spots). Get them outdoors ASAP. They may survive. Your plants are suffering from grower error. Get a book and READ it.

    Suggestions?

Transplant them ASAP. They won't do well in small pots without a LOT of attention while flowering. They'll want to be three times as large.

    Haze's 2014 outdoor grow

Sorry about the animal. I had pictured something smaller. Chicked wire is best, but if stealth is an issue, You can suspend 2" chicken wire 6" off the ground, horizontally. Most(all in my experiece) four legged critters won't cross such a barrier for fear of a predator(dog) coming along. Stretch...

    Getting Rid Of Cats

In the mid nineties we had several cats disappear. Cats sometimes do that. One day in the newspaper, we read an article about a guy a block over being arrested for poisoning cats. He got ten years in prison. They should have hung the bastard. Kill one of my cats, and let me find out? I'll feed...

    Keeping Potted Plants Cool

Anything that you can lean against the pot to block direct sunlight will help. You can paint the pot white, as well. I've used old shingles, boards, newspaper anchored to the pot, and whatever else is handy. Air space between the shading material and the pot will help as well. Just avoid letting...

    Gettin bigger

Looks like some of them need more nitrogen. Consider feeding twice as often with half as much. That helps avoid nute depletion. My plants are growing like hell and are piggish with the nutes. Love your set up. Good growing!

    Getting Rid Of Cats

Very simply, put the seeds/plants someplace SAFE from cats and everything else. My wife and I have had cats our entire lives. I start my seeds, and keep the small plants locked in a greenhouse. By the time the cats see the plants, they can sleep under them. Cats do cat stuff.

    Decepticons Outdoor Grow V3.0

Did you do a foliar feeding a couple weeks ago? It could be a burn from that, but the plant appears to have recovered. Watch it closely to see if it is spreading, but I don't see anything but healthy green leaves above the affected area.

In Norcal they'll be ready to harvest in early October, give or take two weeks, depending strain.

As big as you can, how big is to big???

Space is the main consideration. A fifty gallon pot should produce a pound or better. In a dense grow where plants are close to each other, normal production is between 30 and 50 grams per square foot. My best in my more productive green house was 58g per sq. ft. The best indoors(that I know...

Can anyone ID this, want to make sure its not a hermie!

Looks like you'll get a few ounces. The growth pattern is a bit different, but one of the things about weed is the variety of appearance. All female, though.

SUPER THRIVE WITH MAX SEA WHERE YOU AT DOUBLEJ

I use Super Thrive two or three times each season. Once or twice in foliar feeding and hose end feedings. It may not always be necessary, but better safe than sorry.

    Stupid question

The process is called "cloning". A cutting of Cannabis with its stem in clean water will survive a few weeks. Long enough to show flowers before it expires. If you want it to root, you apply a rooting hormone to the stem, and place it in soil to develop roots. If you want flowers for sexing, you...

doublejj's BIG 2014 greenhouse adventure Reloaded......

Thanks for the first hand description. Having never had experience with 'organized' violence, it is difficult to imagine. My Dad, like yourself, didn't start talking about his experiences during WW2 until he was in his 70s. He lost a lot of friends. Some things he never mentioned, although he...
