Nah man,in fairness (and no offence Sleezy) but I could easily grow what those 2 500w Blackstars do with a 600w HPS, just sadly my tent couldn't take anymore heat, so why not double up with no extra heat I think.Just get rid of the 600hps and get 3 500s instead

Less heat footprint is the main reason I decided to give them a try personally, although I am optimistic about yield, I hope it will come close to my 600 production with 720w of LED. There's only one way to find out, which is why I'm a shill now. The pay is extraordinary! I will be retired in a year or less. Sleezy's buds are dank, I hope mine will turn out this well
Your welcome. I hope my journals clear up any misconceptions that LEDs can't vegg big plants and flower them with dense, dank, stanky buds. I am content growing under these two 500s with a total draw of around 608 watts. Its cheap on my electric and air conditioning bill, quiet, and cool to look at the purple lights. These buds seem to flourish under the LED spectrum. The only issues I have with the lights is the "Sweet Spot" under the LEDs. Either you have to position the plants properly under that "sweet spot" and use a reflective tent, or you can add additional light like you pointed out. Im happy with the ease of using LEDs, so I will continue to grow with them. I am sure over time, the price will go down and the quality will only get better. For now, I am very happy!

Blackmesa, the small humidifier worked out great! As you can see I had no issues with Powdered mildew this time around. I used it mainly when I watered the plants, I would turn on the dehumidifier during that time. Most of the time it was off, because instead of sealing the vents of my tent like last time, I just covered the openings with dark fabric so the air could circulate better and it stayed dark during the 12 hour of darkness period. I would recommend it!
Here's to hoping..... I was fairly certain I would get 8-12 oz with a 600 over that plant but I have no idea with the LED's. Its making it pretty fun I must say

awesome! thanks for the headsup! I was just a consumer like all of you, skeptical of LED technology. I gave it a try with my 300w model, was impressed and bought a 500w. I called the manufacturer and asked them if they wanted to sponsor me on my second light. They checked out my grow journal and hooked me up. Besides that, I have not gotten anything else from Gotham Hydro. I am just a medical grower who wanted to experiment with LEDs and apparently they work like a charm!
