not much to update. the 2nd batch of clones was a little dried out so i fed them with thrive alive. ph of 5.7 and ppm of 150. I hope the spring to life. it's almost been a week and still no signs of roots on any of them. still hoping someone might have an idea as to why my moms are yellowing like that. keep plugging along. getting antsy to flower something. everyday i have to keep myself from putting my moms in the flower room. lol

Run off?
hey hellraizer. ok, so i have never tested the runoff cause someone on the forum told me that was pointless to do. anyway, i have 1 of the bluelab soil testers. i just tested and the ph is between 6.0-6.3 depending what pot you and where you take the reading. the medium is sunshine #4 with about 20% worm castings. the ph that i have been feeding them is around 5.7-6.3. the time before last when i actually gave them nutes i had it at 5.7 cause the soil ph was high at 7.0 and i was trying to lower it. last time i just fed 6.3 r/o water.

i have been feeding them advanced nutrients connoisseur a+b with some voodoo juice. ppm around 750.

that's EXACTLY the road i was leading down. i don't think it was the fungus cause that seems to be dead for now. no new growth or anything, just the burnt orange/red stuff that was there after i sprayed it. i'm wondering though if it could have been the bleach or h2o2 that i sprayed? or both? seems to be close timing. i decided to flower the mothers in 2 weeks or so. i took 34 clones from them and i'm going to let the moms veg and recover for 2 weeks. then i'm going to flower them. make some changes to the soil formula (add some hardwood ash for ph control) and leave out the organic compost. i'll get pics up tomorrow or monday. i changed the cloning process as well. i kept them a little shorter this time; made sure to finely shave each cutting; let them sit in water for 20 minutes; used the thrive alive and some clonex solution for a 300ppm solution which i let the rockwool sit in. i think it might have been a little high but the clonex has a 1-.5-1 ration. i added the 15ml of thrive alive like you said and then added 1/4 dose of the clonex and that's what the ppm said. water was ph's to 5.6. list mist on the plants and then put the dome on. heat mat at 83 with 2 t5 lamps overhead. keep your fingers crossed.

Dont add water to them clones till the tray get dry, then just add a bit of water and thrive to the tray! Just enough to fill
The canals in the tray, that will help keep the humidity up. And in 4 to 5 days add water just like i said in my other post.

As for your moms i think a aggresive flush is in order! Flush them with x3 the volume of the bucket there in.

And for moms i use GH flora nova single part nutes, if you choise this add enough to get 500 ppm, doesnt
Need to be high just enough to get here back on track, then move it up to 700pm

ok. so like 15ml per liter of thrive alive and just enough to get the bottoms to wick up a little? don't want to soak the cubes right? then 4-5 days after that the whole tray inside of try till the cubes are soaked?

ok. i'm going to waut a few days to do this. i want to let them dry out a little more and also i added some of the leftover 300ppm mix that i used of the new clones to each of the moms. i wanna let this dry out and give them a little chance to recover from the clippings i took. or do you think i need to flush now? when i flush it is just ph adjusted water. then the next time i feed them it's 500ppm?

thanks a bunch hellraizer. this is a big help.

15ml of thrive alive to a gallon of water!

You should start the flush asap to save them! The sooner you do the fast you can get back on track

The idea is to keep just enough water with ph correct water thrive to! To keep those canals full.

Then every 4 to 5 day add enough to soak the cubes from the bottom up. When you start your
First soaking after 4to5 days open the vents. After a week take a pencel or something close
To lift the dome up a bit to allow more aire to move through

thats what i been doing to air it out
but i used a piece of romex lol

hey hr what u think about a clone chamber with vent on timer like a 1'' sprinkler valve on a lawn time or something similar so it automaticly lets air in whenever u set it for ?

that would be cool to see. i bet you could do it with a small backdraft damer on a timer switch. you'd need to make the dome out of a sturdy material though.

At fab would be a killer setup :)

You going to start a thread? If you
do make sure it's in the hydro section
so I can mod it :)

those arent airtight
a 1'' electric irrigation valve on a dc timer will work
but instead letting in water it lets in air

i got a 1/4 '' plexiglas cube 2x2 foot by 16'' tall that i been dying to make into a cloner
wonder what would happen if i used led xmas lights for lighting lol
might work

i can diy one and run off my drip system timer i will be adding soon as i get drain pans made out of metal
use same valves
