Barking Mads Grow Journal, with Pics

I have been reading it, from the start when he got all males. There like a hundred pages on that journal, wheres the cfl discussion? I've only got till sepetember before I should be looking at harvesting, LOL
 
its actually my journal and that link should take you to page two where the discusion is... btw only 1 male and 1 herm 3 female on the grow..
 
you asked a question about the plants smelling. I have two plants (bag seed) 5 weeks veg and i can smell them in my room is this normal?

I've been watching my electric consumption since I added the fan and it hasn't really gone up much so I have put it on constant now as well as added another light.

I was expecting some bud today and I have just been told Monday. :cry: Gutted :cry: Man that leaves things a bit tight. I made a tulip today with about 2grms in it, :joint: now Im wishing I hadn't LOL. Oh well, at least I enjoyed it, in fact, I'm still enjoyimg it now!! :joint: :blsmoke: :mrgreen: :hump:

Nice of you to say. I'll survive, it does good to have to ease up sometimes. Although I won't agree with that on Sunday if I run out LOL:mrgreen::mrgreen:
 
Thats good news with the fan on, I really think the plants love the fan, i can see a noticable growth in stem size due to fanning. The constant movement makes them stronger. And good to hear you smoked a tulip- i havent rolled one like that since way back when as a valentines gift- their were 12 of em. In a glass jar.

And Hothouse, I like that Bud slinging spiderman. Looks tight.

it looks like I got another 10 plants with that reflection at the back.
Do you think this will speed it up or just improve the amount of growth, or even, both! That would be nice.:hump: Oh yeah. :joint:
 
Bloody hell - you've been a busy boy LOL. Those babies are going to take off now for sure. They'll grow a lot faster which means you could start flowering earlier with bigger plants if you felt like it. Just watch it doesn't start to get too hot in there and you're in for a great harvest down the line. Good job Barking, well done mate.

Youre right about the heat. It shot up to 90 plus with just the two side panels on but now the fan is running it is a steady 78f. Perfectamundo!

will definitley improve, but not speed up your grow- looks amazing though. I love mylar, it makes your room go from hey thats a decent grow room, to damn that persons gotta sweet grow room. Something about that shinny.

Very nice room all around.
Plants look to be doing good, on track.

I am going to divide my growing area into two so that I can seperate my flowering and vegging operations I have one or two ideas, I just need to settle on the final plans. I am going to need another light ballast as well as at least one extractor fan for the bloom-room. Keep an eye on here, I will update with pics as I go along, all comments and suggestions welcome. I'm not sure what spec I need for the extractor, my bloom-room will be approx 4ft x 4ft and a height of 7ft. Can anyone suggest a suitable size fan and roughly what it will cost? :roll:
