Thanks for the kind words!!

I couldn't be happier with my results, even with the few problems I've had. It's a good learning experience and that's what I wanted out of this first grow.:peace:

Figured it was time to stop being lazy and take the girl out for some pics.

So here they are. There are 5 left. The oldest (pics 1-3) is still just taking her time. Getting fatter everyday. In fact she quit holding herself up today, and the only thing I could find to support her was an old broom handle. Oh well it works. There is also a bunch of seed on the lower buds, I think she was to close to one of the older hermies for to long.

The 1 at 54 days (pics 4 and 5) is coming along nicely. She had nute burn on most of the top leaves, so they got cut. And thats all I have to say about that.;-)

The other 3 are having mixed reviews. First the girl that got tied down (pics 6-9). She got tied tighter the other day, getting to close to the light again. The thing about this 1 is how the top of the plant is growing. 3 or 4 days ago it started to shoot a stem out the top center. It is completely covered in calyxes, it just looks funny to me. Is it normal?

Next is the 1 with the fattest nugs(pics 10 and 11).:hump: A little nute burn, but not bad as bad as the others got it. The next one (pics 12 and 13) is doing good except how thirsty she is. It's the same for both these 2, I just can't give them enough water . Because they veged longer and got as tall as they did, the lower branches aren't getting enough light and are starting to fall off.:-?

I have been reading a lot about organics, and think that is probably my approach on my next grow. I've read some of Ohso and subcools threads, there is a ton of info in those threads it's hard to take it all in at once. Any suggestions on a good soil for a organic newbie would be great!

Now I need to go finish watering and go to bed, so I will get up in the morning for work.:peace:

yeah c you're gonna have some good smoke. You might try some bigger pots next time too. It'll be harder to lug em around for pics but the plants will get a lot bigger. I read that the Fox Farm soil is the best there is if you can find it.

Thanks for the suggestions slabhead! I was thinking about bigger pots myself, probably 5 gal buckets. Yah, everybody loves Fox Farm, and I can find it around here. For about $23 a bag.:-? A little steep for me. I've been trying to find a recipe for a mild soil mix that I would be able to put together fairly cheaply.:peace:

Ouch! yeah that's pretty high. For what it's worth the MG Organic Choice potting mix has worked for me. I even started clones in it. I believe it has the slow release Osmocote ferts but it's pretty mild. I get a bale of spaghnum peat to mix with every 4 of the 2 cu ft bags. In fact I'm gonna be mixing up some today to transplant some clones.

The MG is one of the options I'm looking at. I found a garden shop near my house, that looks like they supply things in bulk. I didn't have a chance to stop yet but I should this weekend. Thanks again slabhead!:peace:

Thanks for stopping by skunkman!!

On page #10 post#97, the oldest one is next to a pop can. That was almost 2 weeks ago, so it's a little fatter. She won't be coming back out for pics though. The broom handle wasn't working out real well, so I tied from the base of the cola to the ceiling. I like to think I got kinky girls, 1 is tied down the other tied up!:hump: I will give you something to reference size with my next pic update.:peace:

Alright here are some pics. I didn't drag them out so the pics aren't the best.

82 DAYS!!! And still at least another week. She has been flushed and had nothing but water for the last week. I had to tie her up!!:hump: (I think she likes it!!) The buds are real thin, not like any of the others. judging by the drooping problem they are very dense though. I'll have an early sample in a couple days. Even the lower branches aren't holding them selfs up any more, so I cut a couple off! In the 2nd pic you can see the lower branches sagging as well.

61 day flowering. I think this one will be done in 1-2 weeks. About half the hairs have turned dark and are just starting to retract. The next watering will be a flush.

The next 3 are at 49 days and not slowing down. This is the fattest one still. I've noticed a lot of seeds in different spot on her also. Oh well, I've decided I'm going to take all the seeds from this grow and spread them through the country. Get it growing wild!! More on why I won't use them later.

This 1 is kind of funny. The top quit growing? It got that 1 leaf sticking out the top and stopped. The rest is doing fine, the hairs even turned brown. Thought maybe it got pollinated but I see no seeds starting. It's been over a week. I just wait and see what happens.

Now for the girl that got tied down!!:hump: I know she likes it!!! The rope had to get tighter. These are the side branches. I think she will be my biggest producer!

An overall view.

On the seeds, I have noticed pollen sacks on every plant!! I'm pretty bummed.:-| If 1 would have stayed female I'd been a little happier with the chance of feminized seeds. That brings me to my next subject....

Why did they all go hermie??? Was it a light leak? I took care of 1 and think I may have 1 more. It does seem to have lightened up on the number of sacks showing. Was it the high humidity? Or the soil/nute problems?

I'm going start a new thread in a few days about the set up of my grow room. I'd appreciate any tips on it when I get it up.:peace:

Aren't they all female, I mean besides the hermies? That would mean those seeds are feminized. Unless you had a full male in the mix they should be. But the buds are looking good. You do have a scope to check the trichs don't cha? I FINALLY got one of the Radio Shack ones and it just amazes me to see those trichomes doing their thing. I even like to look at the weed now before I smoke, just to see how they look compared to the high produced.

They all are Hermie! I've found sacks on all of them. I don't know for sure but I think that means the seeds will be as well. I may save some to find out. I've got the seeds for my next grow already, my brother had a little collection. He had a White Widow and a couple others, The most interesting to me is one he said he got from a guy we know. It is his own creation called "Purple Jesus". So I've been reading up on Purple stains to see what to expect.:peace:
