I have/use one for my plants. Yeah finding that sweet spot can be hard, but 55f and roughly 16hrs on final dry time is good for me. My indoor Sativas only took 11hrs to finish and my terps have been amazing. Although I have over dried more than a few times as well, but 1/2 boveda packs of 62% and it seems to help them a bit. My recent Blue Cindy just screams sour blueberry candy (sweetarts) in both taste and smell. Here’s my Golden Tiger from this past October, and I think a load of my Slurricane in the freeze dryer. can buy some device that will help keep the moisture in the freeze drying process perfect but an additional I think $600-1k

Here’s what’s in the box and what the Cure Puck looks like mounted on a 27 gal tote. Comes with power cord, diffuser and hose, and a stylus for the touch screen. The app is super handy, I can check live data and manually burp from anywhere in the world. It will send alerts if thing go above or below parameters leaving me with not a worry in the world. Update on the Cure Puck, working amazing so far. Here’s some pictures of 3 different strains in a 27 gal tote. Also a screenshot of the app and all the data I’m collecting to improve on next cure. Pretty interesting to see the humidity and co2 rise and fall as it burps the tote. I ran weather stripping along the top to create a seal and I put 5lb weight on top. It’s basically a co2 and RH monitor with a small fan. I just buy inkbird monitors and a pc fan. If you wanted an app ac infinity has both monitors and their app is decent. For $600 I could make 4 of these setups and the monitors can be used in the grow room also. If it’s a good product competition should drive the price down.

You’re close on the premises but there’s a little more to it. One of the biggest reasons for the cost is the precision sensors and meters. Unless you spend hundreds you will not get a hygrometer that’s +/- 1 like in the cure puck. If you’re lucky it will be +/- 4. On top of that the sensors can be replaced on the unit for years of use. I use inkbird humidistat to control my diy humidifier and had to manually calibrate because it was way off. A more simplified version I have seen is 5 gal buckets with 1/4 inch hose and check valves with an air pump hooked up to a timer.

Are you sure that's a precision meter? Did you read the ambient CO2 outside? Because that should be 420 and yours is reading 500 even when burping. The cheaper end of CO2 sensors is not that impressive.
High precision humidity sensors are not that expensive though. They cost 3 $ in bulk, so ~15 $ in a manufactured item.

You’re right, it’s cost $200 for ac infinity co2/RH setup. They already have an app

The CO2 reading is from inside the chamber so the levels can get high in there. Mine are in the 400-600 range. The CO2 dose start high when you power on and then quickly settles down to current reading. The hydrometer in particular is the impressive one, I don’t know much about the co2 meter. You might be right just from what I read to get that +/-1 is important and not industry standard of +/-4. Isn’t the best quality cannabis priceless lol.

So the RH has settled out at 61.8 and went from burping multiple times a day to once every 24 hours. All the stems snap now and are ready for long term storage. I also cured som flower as I normally would to compare the two. The flower cured with the cure puck is definitely stickier than my old cure style. Not super scientific but I squeezed each of the test flowers and the flower cured with the Puck stuck on for way longer with repeated results. The Cure Puck took all the hard work out of the curing process with superior end results, what’s not to like? If you’re serious about upping your cure and your budget allows I recommend the Cure Puck. I’ll for sure continue my testing up and hopefully some fun surprises for you guys. I have seen similar products, the only issue I see is that you would need a lot of them to cure any quantity. And imagine having to plug in 20 of those things. With the puck I can do pounds at a time. Might be perfect though if you’re just getting a few ounces at a time.
