lol wtf? without seeing the bottom how u know its root bound? and surely this dude would of seen an explosion of white roots and more than likely wouldn't need to make this post lol.
If its an auto, then alot of people recommend starting them in their final pots. They dont recover well from transplanting and a bigger starting pot makes for a bigger root system from the get go.
Dont have much exp with autos but have popped about 10 in the last year. 4 looked like yours after 3week+ and I put it down to not getting enough light (was in corner of tent), ended up trashing them. The other 6 autos I made space for under a 600hps from day 1. Used smart pots and coco and after a week or so looked like it had hit that stage again and stopped doing shit, anyways left them another week+ and they just exploded out the ground and began doing there thing.
I made the mistake of cooking them with the first feed which fucked it all but I guess I learnt that unlike hydro and seeing massive growth on a daily basis, autos done in soil/coco require a week or 2 of nothing above ground, while root system is made, and then boom, they come out to play.
Yeah, I think i must have done something wrong somewhere. lol.
I ended up giving them a good feed of nutrients as I felt these needed something from the symptoms of a sulfur deficiency...
I was using rain water with a EC of (0), and couldn't make sense of why this was happening, after mixing up the nutrients and seeing I needed to PH up the solution I felt something was up. EC was still lower than it should have been too..
Tried it again with tap water, it was only an EC of about 0.1 and it was almost bang on what the ph needed to be as well as the PPM for that amount of nutrients. Fed them a big drink of this solution, as I went on vacation for a few days. Will be interesting what happened when i get back home. Gone for 5 days, big ass pots full of coco and this time should be the correct amount of nutrients for the size of these..
Will either be a pleasant surprise or a shit one when I get back to see them. lol..
Hopefully they are at least looking better, then I won't feel so bad about starting again and hopefully getting them up and running without these shitty problems.
I already regret buying auto seeds, originally I planned to just plant these outdoors and let them go, but now using a grow light I think these aren't the best choice to fill the space with. Have 1 x Special Kush seed left I want to get started if i have figured out what i was doing wrong, ill get it started and ditch the sick plants.
I just want to grow a healthy plant good damn it! lol, Some quality smoke is all i am after, I'm sick of paying top dollar for bud, growing for me and the wifey would be nice if I can show her i can do it. lol
