Thats bull man and totally sucks .... i hear ya ... breeders need to do better job at selecting genetics .... it seems like the littlest stress can push those hermie genetics out .... the best way to combat that probably is to go with regular seeds then sex them etc and select best phenos ... but that requires extra time and maybe plant 30-50% more plants in case ya lose some to sexing....to be honest if it were legal, i wouldnt care about screwed up runs ... ill just start over hah ... but when we take all the risk getting caught growin them for 4-5 months we expect nothing less than optimal harvest hah .... happy growin bro

Cheers mate yeah honestly plants where so healthy, il upload some pics of them rip lol, veg tent Ive already got royal ak feminised by royal queen seeds and blue rhino feminised by positronics, I didn't know bout hermies tbh I thought as soon as they budded n showed there females I was home and dry, I'm now hermie paranoid gna make 100% sure tents cleaned n conditions are perfect, next time I'm also considering normal seeds and traditional strains to minimise risk as like you said risked months of growing them and all them canna nutrients the bi sexual fuckers raped me for grrrrrrrrr

Yeah Daz, never assume a female is 100% immune to growing pollen sacs. The easiest way to tell how hermied a plant may become is based on how high the pollen sacs reach. If they're only on lower limbs you can remedy it with a little surgery. But if you have bananas coming from high new growth, the plant is completely hermie and needs to be culled immediately. Saw a friend with a plant getting a leak from an 18/6 light cycle in the same room and his colas were full of pollen sacs. Shame too, cuz the buds looked good, but was junk in the end due to pollen.

Lmfao @bisexual fuckers hahaha i know right??? .... i know many people scrap their run and start over when the plants hermie. I try to isolate a one bad plant of possible.....otherwise, let them go for a little more, get SOMETHING out of them (vs nothing when ya chop) and also possibly some seeds. Hermies seeds my have many hermies genetics in them .... but a hermie plant that rapes a female plant will produce some good seeds with lesser of those bad hermie genetics
I live where I cannot locally source or even online order canna seeds. If i do and ger caught ill be the one getting raped in jail lmfao
I have been actually leanimg towards switching to regular seeds but didnt want to jump into it .... so i ordered a couple seeds of strains i wanted but had no feminised seeds available at the time ... so i got a black label white widow in regular seed and a dourban poison also in a regular seed. I hope both turn out females :-)

I had seeds from a hermie before (barneys liberty haze) ... i popped 3 and 2 were perfect and one was pure male that i discarded after harvesting some pollen sacs for future experimenting ;-)

..... save them in a dry place .... n when ya have a good plant with good pheno (structure and buds etc), you can use a small painbrush, touch the pollen sac and all the dust around it, then go to your groom (make sure the fan is off so you dont pollinate everything) and just touch some lower shitty popcorn buds...... baaaam now ya got your own seeds of good genetics from known plants (PExLH) ;-)

Thats what happened to me too in my last run ... 3 girls .... the pineapple express and tangerine dream only had rare bananas that i could simply tease off ... but the strawberry cough had it all over and she raped all the girls in thw room lol ... but i couldnt discard her because look at those buds in the photos .... she hermied very late in flowering so i just let her finish and rape the rest of the plants (for more seeds) ..... dude let me tell ya this ... i hear and also know from experience that seeded buds are NOT as potent ... however, this seeded strawbwrry cough shocked the hell out of me when i smoked it ..... she gve me the strogest wnergy jolt i have ever experienced tgat i wanted to leave (a bang bang session) to just randomly sprint in the street lmfao ... .exactly how i fwlt ..... i still use this plant only when i want coffee to wake me up (but cant drink it due to my gastritis)
That being said .... i still fuckin hate it when the girls hermie on me :-)

Honestly didn't have any light leaks, did work in there at dark with lumi led green light but have seen some people say green leds shouldn't be used, not going to work or go in there at dark periods anymore, just think it was the cold water feeding and maybe where I feed when tents open cold air gets in, you see some people stress there plants splitting stems, bending, lollypopping etc and don't get hermies

Just gutted as was first grown and worked so hard for all to be sweet in tent, lights of 18/20 deg c lights on 24/26 deg c humidity at 40/45 throughout with dehumidifier on timer, could of smashed the tent to pieces lol gna get a water heater now to put in water butt and keep water at bout 18/20 deg c and not enter tent at all in dark periods, quick in with water and zip up to prevent cold getting in tent too, learning the hard way hah

Lol i see where you're coming from, bro .... things will calm down the more grows ya have under your belt. I used to pop in the groom and peek my head in the tent 2x aday at least lol ..... now im lucky if i can peek at them for 10 minutes once a week .... all on autopilot using blumats self irrigation carrots in large pots ;-)

and i highly recommend at least lookin into them ..... even when i ran hydro 2 runs ago, id peek at them 1-2x aweek .... this is mainly cause i cant be discreet (kids and all) and go in every day ... but also because i realized i am the one bringing bugs in and the more i go in and out, the more variables there are ... but if i grow LITFA-style (leave it the fuck alone lol) i should have fewer issues ..... and i still get hermies pmsl ... im destined haha
But yeah dude keep in mind that if the mildest irritation/stress cause a plant to hermie, then it really isnt YOU or something you did ... like the green light amd a little cold air ... this all should be that bad .... must have been bad genetics..... in my last run, i believe it was the spider mite infestation that stressed the barneys farm CBD CC to hermie .... its just bad genetics man. I cannot attribute it to anything else

Yes mate was in there like a kid in a candy shop admiring it but yeah very true they more I can stay out of it the better, planning on going hydro after getting one gro out the way with an intelligent watering system iws heard that's good and tank can be in the room keeping it at right temperature

Looks yummy even with the nanners poking out.
How organic was it? Looks pretty legit to me. I can't stand pgr weed now that I've grown organic. Makes me pretty turned off to street herb. Shit around here lately is rock buds.

Thanks brother and i hear ya ..... my hydro buds were great and tasty ... but i can certainly tell the difference with organic buds even comparing a first organic run buds to my last 2 hydro runs :-)

Those strawberry cough buds were organic in the same soil im running now ... it was the first cycle .. my first fully oranic soul run ... water only :-)

Quick update day 81 of flowering:
Light on dropped to 10 hours.
Sweet coffee ryde buds got jarred today.
PineappleExpressMystery got vhopped and trimmed today as well! She smelled amazingly sweet and fruity .... i can tell her other parent is the strawberry cough from the smell.....shes full of seeds
Ill try to chop down the BlueKush tomorrow

Yeah it IS weird. The plants look pretty ready, have you checked out the trichs from close up? And what does the breeder data say? They're senescing fast too now.. so your best bet may be to ignore that growth and just focus on how the "first generation" buds look to you...

I've been messing with soil and completely confusing myself too much lately to know anything at all at the moment.
But just logically, it can't be beneficial microbes reviving (and causing that new foliage to grow) if your worms are leaving too - they wouldn't do that if that were the case. I'd be curious to look at the soil after this round though, maybe it's losing structure? Because you have been replenishing it with foods and reinoculating microbes all this time, after all.

End of week 12 (day 84 since 12/12):
Well now its 10/14 so hopefully this will help them finish faster.
The SourD is fattening up very nicely and starting to fox-tail now beautifully ... i love it when they do that
The BlueKush is foxtailing too but stretching much ... hopefully the longer night period of 14 hours will help with that. I meant to chop the BlueKush but just couldnt ... will let her gor for a week and see what happens with her ... a Tangerine Dream mystery seed sprouted today. One more TD and one nore PE trailing!
