Haha! Thanks HC. I've been smoking other peoples weed for a couple of months now so this harvest should tell me something about how I'm doing. Don't really know if what I'm smoking is good, or really good, and I have just been too stoned for way too long to be able to tell. I'm anticipating a dry spell for me between the 9th, when I leave for Europe, and the 16th, when we arrive in Amsterdam, unless we score something on the way, so either way, I should be a little purged by the time I get to try some of this Dank I'm headed for. This time next week I'll be alongside the Danube in Budapest. I think I can sacrifice a day or two without weed for that. What'a ya think of that??? lol

I'll think of you next week man that's awesome! When I come in to a good sum of money I would love to travel and see the world, there's so much out there it would be a shame to never see it

I was just talking to my wife about it and how nervous I am about it. I'm a bit of an odd sort. Some of the littlest things can get me all frustrated where I don't handle things as well as I should, but when the big stuff comes up I tend to deal with it all calm and cool. I remember when I first started doing long haul and I went on my first trip to the US on my own for a week. That was much like I feel now, but once I got out there it was nothing, and that's how I think this will be once I put my feet down there, but til then.....

I think a big part of the reluctance is that I've been home for over 3 years now and have become quite comfortable here. Too comfortable I think. This is so much more than just a trip, it's a reclamation of my life, and then some. I expect to make many new friends too.


So we're heading out to see the new puppy today. Not ready to come home yet but we'd like him to get to know us a bit before. Don't know if I mentioned in a past post, but his name will be Mortimer, probably to be shortened to Moe. Not my choice but I have no objections. Pics later.

I'm real excited for you Duch. Getting out the house is nice sometimes. And I know the feeling.

well yes its is but only cuz ive taken on the daddy role and am always there for hatty. Being close by when shes asleep listening to the baby monitor, chain smoking while i can so its gonna be a bit different. Im not a good walker either so not looking forward to all the hoofing ill have to do. Be like being single again with out lgp at my side ill be lost lol.

I hear that. My daughter was 4 when I started driving truck. Every weekend I came home I'd notice a big difference in her. Killed me everytime because I knew I'd be leaving again. While I loved the places the job took me, I hated more what it took me away from. This is different though. She's just about 18 so things are sort of anew again for me and my wife.

I guess when they turn 18 you get to be you again lol but older you lol. Starting a fam at 38 aint gonna give me many years after they leave home lol

Yeah, but it'll make you a better dad and husband. You can have your time too. Just not now. lol Maybe when she starts full days of school, or sometime after that. IDK

So it appears that my boy, over the week, has grown to be bigger than "the Pick".

No, I don't think he has. Nice fella and his family raising them and doing a good job. Other dogs and cats and kids around seems to be raising some stable and sound pups. Patience is a virtue eh cof?

Right up to the hour I'm running around getting last minute things done. Hit staples for SD cards so I can load tunes for the trip, Chopped down 5 plants and hung them in my dark tent with just the exhaust running. The other 3 the misses will chop and hang and shut things down, leaving only my reveg's going. And, I changed the front door lock, finally. lol Last guy still may have a key.
