hey goten i can see the chicken wire....only one line....it will be best to put one more chicken wire to the top of posts. it will be deerproof :)

I was thinking about running smaller post around horizontally to deer proof it , plus its free lol

Part of me feels like if i ran more chicken wire across the top also it would allow more vines and shit to grow around it which might block light to the plants

Share your thoughts on this please

im a hunter and gardener. you cant build a fence high enough to keep deer out. iv seen them jump 18foot over a snow fence. liquid fence works well and you can buy it with sea kelp in it. but the fence well help hold up the buds. what the soil like you going with pots

I know deer can get over it if they want to

Im doing this in hopes that if they walk to my area again when they hit my fence that hopefully they might just redirect and go another way

I dig holes around 15 gal deep and re fill with different soil

heard that liquid fence stuff is good. after all this work might not be a bad idea to invest in a lil bit of that. looking good though + rep for your efforts :)

My local tractor supply has it but its around 40 bucks , plus im not to sure on how good repellants really work

I dont have alot of money to work with cuz i have custody of my kids and i have to buy them alot of stuff , school supplies , clothes , food , ect

I went to the barbra shop and got a whole bag full of hair and spread it out around my last grow and pissed every time i went out , those damn deer did not give a fuck about human hair and piss and shit lol

But im hoping to have better luck this time

I grew outside last year, and im from NC also. I used the mosquito ringtone to keep deer and animals away. Get you a portable radio, wire that shit to a solar panel and put some rechargeable batteries in it. The batteries will run it at night, and the solar will run it during the day and charge the battery.

I had absolutely no problems with any animals, and i had no fencing or anything around my plants they were in an open field... Try that out bro, whats awesome is you dont have to worry about humans hearing it.

The fence is coming along ,

Still got shit to do to it though ,

Its very open right now , everything is dieing off and shit , but when shit starts growing back im gonna train the vines and shit through the chicken wire and around the post

I know that if a deer really wants to get to my plants my fence wont stop it , but hopefully its enough that when they come the fence will redirect them somewhere else lol

I know it dont look like much but it took alot of hard work to do this by myself , alot more then what you might think and im still not done lol

Well here is a pic of how it is so far

hair dont work. but its good for slow release nitrogen. what are you going to do when all that grass dies and peopel can see your fence. id put something in the middel tell spring to make it look like it could be something other then a garden. maybe a small fire ring like a camp site. thats not the best idea but only one i can think of.

I live in deep country , my closest neighbor is my sister

My grow area is in a nice remote spot , no one can see it , you would have to be in a chopper or plane flying over to see it ,

You dont really start seeing the search choppers around here till around sept , i seen the first one this year about 2 weeks ago , Im planning on a early harvest so hopefully i will get it ,

I harvested some N.l late august this yr in that same spot , i just did not have the fence , but the deer got the rest of my shit

But that N.l rocked me pretty good lol

Are you sure it's deer eating your plants?. I ask b/c they have 4 chambered digestive systems to coincide with seasons, during the Fall they generally shun vegetation in favor of berries etc. Now their clumsy ass hooves are a different story, lost a few plants to those before I moved further from their trails. Nice work btw!.
