My veg lights are presently a 4ft., 6 bulb, T-8 warm, and cool white mix. I'm going to fire up the mh soon though.
The double barrel are right around 3,4 wks.

is that light the "bad boy" t8 ballast or whatever? I heard of something like that before. I use a small 2 bulb t8 ballast with CFLs. I liked the idea of the bigger ones with every spectrum of light like that. The pic I had seen this guy somehow found every color bulb. I think his was more than 6 tho.

It's just a reg. old light , someone gifted it to me from a salvage they did.
I think the t5 is the most efficient in the floro cat., but don' quote me on that.
My hydro veg. box uses 6, 100watt replacement, cfl daylight bulbs, and they work great.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Its a girl!!! Yea my little Afgooey just started gettin preflowers a couple days ago. They are coming in real slow tho. I remember on my first grow, once the preflowers showed up they started growing like crazy. within a week or two there was buds already forming. I'm like a week into the preflowers showing and theres like 6 hairs on my girl lol

Here's a pic of plant 3 (the dope)
she's starting to turn colors now. I dont know if it's due to the earlier root bound, or I had a slight chemical nute burn earlier, or maybe it's just a quicker pheno (or is it geneo? Ifin ya know let me know), none the less plants 1, 2, 4 are showing no signs of color at all.
The colors of the ripening fruit, are really nice. Like a soft rust, with a little pink thrown in.(I could tell you the color if I was a girl, but I'm not, so this is the best I can do.

The jack the ripper I put in to check the sex, has grown up to about a foot tall now.

Thought I'd work in a look at how my pineapple express grows.
This is her 5 days from the flip. I'll try and keep ya up to date with this strain also. It's one of my favorites in the garden right now.

Gonna give plant 3 (the dope) the axe.
She's coloring up nicely now. This is my least impressive plant of the four.(still a nice plant though)
It's finishing out at 35", and has average size nugz, that are a little fluffy compared to the others.
Her smell is out of hand. So sweet and juicy, tropical punch goodness.
Plants 1,2,and 4 look like they're going to go at least 9,10wks.
Plant 3 is at 7. I'm thinking that her being root bound, and transplanted mid way through flower, may have something to do with her fluffy buds, and early mature.
Could have something to do with nute burn at week 5.

Had a chance to try out the dope finally. This is fresh,and uncured. Trimmed and hung on the plant, till able to smoke in a joint.( even though I used a bonger)
Bag appeal
Is a nice looking smoke, light green with burnt orange hairs. Trichome coverage is light though. 7/10.
Smell
Really fantastic. A real sweet smell of tropical punch/ fruit. A little something in the background I just can't place, but gives the impression of great smoke. 9/10
Taste
Out of hand good. Upon inhale a sweetness lands on the back of your tongue, only to roll across it on exhale, and coat it in a sugar that you can still taste better than an hour later. After the next breath that smell that I can't explain comes in and all you can think is, Thats some good tasting shit there. 9/10
Effect
Pretty good. You can feel the first hit. It shoots straight to the brain, and falls swiftly to your limbs. After a couple puffs, it places you in a bubble, with a mind racing effect. No couch lock, but more of a energetic high. I don't have this prob., but was told it brings out a little paranoia. I doubt you can smoke to much of it. You hit the ceiling pretty quick, but it's up there. 8.5/10
This is from a premature harvest so reserve the right to edit a little. I'm pretty sure I got the jist of this plant though.
All in all.......I give this plant 8/10

It's official. One of my chocolate rain plants is male.
I'll be growing him out, and put him to work on a couple things.
I'll try and get some pics up today. If not have a merry christmas, and watch out for crazy drunks.

This one has much denser nugz then #3. Smell is pretty much the same.(heaven)
As long as I'm putting up pics, here's a pic of the dope (#3) in my hydro rig. She seems to be loving it. I think she's fighting with the pineapple express for best looking plant in the rig.(I have a trainwreck that's fighting for a close third).
