Cool thread, That 5hit. I just started working out again three weeks ago. I hit 334 lbs (my fit weight is 235) and finally decided to do something about it. I started Nutrisystem and hit the weights again and have lost 15 lbs as of today. I can't believe I let myself get to the point where I felt like shit every day. But the tide has turned and I actually wake up and look forward to lifting again. I have a huge Body Solid gym that I almost sold several times. Glad I didn't.

Everyone is differen't....weed actually gets me motivated. haha. I smoke before i workout...and zoneout. Sometimes i stay too long without realizing it...haha
dude try this... before you go to the gym (like 15-20) digest something with a caffine pill or a cup of coffee. then once you do cardio at the gym go smoke and come back. I swear to go its like being on steriods for me. im stronger and more focused. weed is honestly a performance enhancing drug for me lol.

Well I got out and got the Tower 200 by Randy Couture today, what a wicked contraption, just put it on top of the door and slide it on the bottem and clip in the middle. It gives you 200lbs of tension and over 200 killer exercises, has a killer 11 minute workout, I'll be doing 3 times a day except for Saterdays. (that's my day lol) only costs $229 cdn and works great, no assembly and can put it up in seconds. I'm very happy with it and am excited as hell to get back into shape. Thank god for muscle memory lol

shit yea man, you can do over 200 diff exercises with it, comes with a dvd and a wall poster with the 11 min workout. I'm going to be doing it 3x a day before breakfast, mid afternoon and after supper. I'm 270-80 and I need to get back to 220lbs, that's when I'm a tank, I'm looking to get at least to 250 by June.
Really need to get my weight in check, I'm a diabetic......

I almost garentee i would ethere A) Rip my door off the wall or B) rip the entire door frame out lol
Hahaha...yeah, i've very skeptical about things like this that i see on tv. I know another thing that looks dumb as hell...the one that looks like a pogo stick and you just squeeze it together or something...:wall:

yea Id be afraid to rip the door off to lol.
I can vouch for the pull up one that you attach to the top of your door frame though. My friend got one and its actually very sturdy.

The only thing was I scraped the front of the door at the bottem cause it's really tight to get on there, I know what you guys are saying I was wondering the same thing but the fucker don't move at all, you slide it on top of the door and fasten the middle, with the strap and close the door. I'm 280lbs and I'm an Iron Worker and a pretty big boy and when I do "the freak" that's when you lay down and do pushups with the grips still in your hands and do a push up and reach out with 1 hand and alternate, the door don't move at all, that's how ridged it is. It works great worked out 2 times yesterday and again this morning and going to this evening.
