ahhh. who gives a shit anyway. Truth is there aint nothing we can do. Everything is a flop. best thing to do is sit back, go about ur life and tune in to the comical 3-d movie that is the world we live in and remember, real change is coming in 2012.
the #1 thing all agree on is that famine will be the first killer. so all fellow growers have an edge up, albeit slight, in preserving our future via our knowledge of crop growing.
money and it's worth is slowly being eroded and dissappearing, which is a good thing.
we are here folks-let us be prepared-(did I spell that right? ummm, weed, me like)

uhh bushes tax cuts went deep into the middle class. The top 1% already pay more than the bottom 95%. How much milk can you siphon off before the fatted cow dies, taking you down with it?

The latest data show that a big portion of the federal income tax burden is shoul*dered by a small group of the very richest Americans. The wealthiest 1 percent of the population earn 19 per*cent of the income but pay 37 percent of the income tax. The top 10 percent pay 68 percent of the tab. Meanwhile, the bottom 50 percentthose below the median income levelnow earn 13 percent of the income but pay just 3 percent of the taxes. These are proportions of the income tax alone and dont include payroll taxes for Social Security and Medicare.
But Americans did respond to the tax cuts. There was more investment, more hiring by businesses, and a stronger stock market. When we compare the taxes paid under the old system with those paid after the Bush tax cuts, the rich are now actually paying a higher proportion of income taxes. The latest IRS data show an increase of more than $100 billion in tax payments from the wealthy by 2005 alone. The number of tax filers who claimed taxable income of more than $1 million increased from approximately 180,000 in 2003 to over 300,000 in 2005. The total taxes paid by these millionaire households rose by about 80 percent in two years, from $132 billion to $236 billion.

Not sure if anyone commented on this yet... but this stimulus was 1100 pages. Yet Obama kept rushing congress to pass it before a catastrophe happens, giving them no time to read everything. AND NOW this man wants to sign it on Wednesday? AFTER HE RUSHED CONGRESS TO PASS IT?
What the hell? He gave congress 1 day to review a 1100 page bill.

What he clearly meant was he wanted Congress to pass the bill so he could say a catastrophe did happen, or maybe
Obama : "We need to pass this bill before a catastrophe happens"
Senate : "The bill's been passed"
House : "The bill's been passed"
Obama : "Good, that was the catastrophe."

What I meant was that he was fear mongering and rushing Congress to get this thing passed, hardly gave them any time to read 1100 pages of complex writing, then took a vacation before he signs it like it's a goddamn joke.
He's not fit for the job. We're in a crisis, there's no time for vacation. Especially for the man who apparently decides the fate of this country.

Now here's a figure I can really sink my teeth into. Half the workers make less than 13% of the pie, while the top 1% make 19%. Can anyone but me see a glaring discrepancy here? The top 6.37% making 33% of the pie, and the top 10% had nearly 50%. The top 1/10th of 1% had as much income as the bottom 150 Million Americans. Seems there is a huge division in income. What would happen if the top 1/10th % gave half of their income to the bottom 150 million Americans? Let me guess. They would not be affected very much, (I'll bet they wouldn't miss any meals or have their homes foreclosed on) whereas the bottom 150 million would see their incomes significantly improved, roughly by 50%, I think that would help immensely. I think it is time to re-assess the division of wealth.
