Hazey im not here to argue. Im here to state the facts so people dont buy into your non experienced growing ass. What you grew couple plants and you give advise to people that have grown 1000's of plants for over a decade....get real bro. Just cause you smoked weed in the 70s doesnt make you a expert at growing like you act, if that was the case my dad would be a expert grower like you hazey and hes never grown shit....Hazey if your not growing and have no real experience you should not give out growing advice, smoke reports is one thing but growing advice you should avoid cause you show your growing IQ and its really low...

as always, trolls like to lie, but my grows are well documented here. i took to using a trademark (columbian) gold backdrop for pics of my plants and seeds as troll STFU ammo and without wasting much of my time, found this old pic of my SECOND GENERATION cross of super cali haze x joey weed's cinderella that i knocked up with JW's cindy apollo. i called her fruity booty because she got dense and sticky and was pretty good as far as generic hazes and maybe even better than a couple generics, jacks or hazes i was growing with her, but NOT as good as DNA genetics' awesome sweet haze, but i KNOW the "candy lopez" cross i made sweet haze x cindy apollo would be better than fruity booty, but she's just a pride strain as it was my first cross i've tested

my two favorite jack strains:

the CH9 jack was neither skunk, nor stony despite it's appearance, though it was a true potent mid. way better than skunk #1/masterkush/blueberry etc. stoner bud & an intended breeder for stretchy sativas to make them more indoor friendly without impacting their buzz as much as the aforementioned indices or NL#5, G13 and afghani etc.

i don't know where all of my pics are posted, but these show who tells it like it is, and who lies. i even talk about my own "failures" like my sour cream x cindy apollo cross being crazy nuts sensitive and curling like a mofo, or the hot spot burn incident as i'm here to share facts and nothing but facts. if you believe whoever has the biggest mouth like so many fox news watching morons who can't discern between truth and agenda, it sucks to be you. as always, i gotta keep facts handy for troll STFU ammo.

When I see a complete grow with things that show as his true grow Il put him down as a fellow bedroom hackers. (hacker= some wants to breed but as no space so they hack at it, most modern stuff) Untill then hazey/ Hydronaut whatever username he use's, I will class him as worse than a copp. Someone that gives bad advise because he read somewhere it works, gives bad advise on strains over jelousy and inability to do siad strain himself. ("I couldnt do a 18 week haze I bet this noob cant either" Fact being though noob beets you when he shows us his kit with a geminated seed then keeps updating ).

I minored in horticulture, and I've read a fair bit about terpene/caritinoid expression as it pertains to UV radiation. Everything you're saying is true Hazy, I juat think you're a little too adamant about MH being greater than HPS. You have to realize the majority of this board grows to get high/stoned and that bringing out flavor is a secondary priority. I'd rather have 2oz of some non tasty fire than 1 oz of delicious goodness. And don't say the yields are comparable bc flowering plants NEED 640-690nm for the majority of their fruit biomass.

I think people would give you less shit if you had more documented grows brother. I've only been at this for 2-3 years and I've already gotten sketched out about documenting all this criminal activity so I feel ya.

Hazey as i said please stop giving growing advise....your grow area is a joke, your plants are a joke, and your seed collection is not even note worthy....Your plants look like bottom branches i cut off and throw away cause they will turn into larf. I recommend you just shut your mouth and move on cause your not a real grower, does your family eat cause of your plants, do you put food on the table cause of them? What you got there Hazey 2 400's, I could average about 20-24oz under 2 400s so when you get even half of that ill maybe change my mind if your a actual grower or not. Just cause you start some seeds and grow a few tiny plants doesnt make you a real grower. Your a good talker and good at trying to push your ideas ill give you that....

MH may bring out better terp profiles but it's not as if plants grown under hps are flavorless. Hazy takes it to the fuckin extreme with opinions, demonstrates a ridiculous amount of bullshit (case in point, him claiming MH are cooler when ever grower who's ever used both knows that is not the case, just an example).

Flowering plants desire more red spectrum light in flower, that's just a fact. Unfortunately with today's modern electric lights, we don't have great, affordable ways of having a nice full spectrum without sacrificing something. So most flower with HPS. That's the nuts and bolts

it's hard to grow when you have neighbors and landlords conspiring against you. at EVERY apartment i've had when i was growing and LEGAL, i had landlords that sent out surprise inspection letters every couple months, and that often wouldn't show up for TEN DAYS after the date given making me want to set everything back up and say "get lost! you didn't show up on the date specified!" but i know they were just trying to catch me growing. i also had neighbors stress me out at every place, ansi STILL say it was because of the same sneaky lying trolls here somehow finding out who i am and getting everyone to fuck with me. i lost my last apartment AND my gear because of that shit and am reduced to renting a freakin' room with bad credit now because of that crap, and had to give away ALL of my plants that i was just getting ready to flower because of trifling in a FOURTH apartment that "locals only" drama followed me to and nearly made me turn violent on neighbors for violating my personal space when i'd had enough of people conspiring against me like weasel turds.

i also don't takes pics of everything. i don't even really like to, and used to DESPISE grow reports that were all about pics and nuts levels etc. with absolutely shitty smoke reporting. that's my ONLY priority... finding the best buzzes i can and sharing my experiences because good smoke reports, especially if you want to get high, are few and far in between.

as to WHAT i've done in my grows, hey, i'm the first one to qualify EVERYTHING! i reported my last flowering grow getting shut down because of the hot spot burns one day i forgot to turn my fan on because another pesky bitch of a neighbor was wall banging my bedroom with the fan on 24/7. it wasn't a finished grow, but i DID get viable seeds out of everything except the jack and jack's cleaner 2 (i STILL say the landlord fucked that up as it seems like i've always had the most problems with my favorites in a weird coincidence like leaf curl from sour cream x cindy apollo too) and the buzzes i got out of EVERYTHING were way fucking better than ANY of the stoner crap i've wasted money on for over 25 years. that is a fact, but i'd rather smoke mexican brick than stoner bud as i despise getting stoned. always have, and always will. it's depressing.

to me, that alone is a good reason to share my experience as anyone who wants to get high would rather smoke an early harvested saliva than any afghani.

it's also disingenuous to go out of one's way looking for excuses to dismiss information. it's like there's an active conspiracy against getting high that hopes beyond dealers refusing to grow saliva doms. they don't even want them discussed, and i've seen trolls attacking at least one other sativa grower in another forum confirming my suspicion. it's some kind of reactionary fear of anyone doing anything different along the lines of "kill the messenger" which is a REAL instinct among xenophobes who think with their emotions instead of logically. i'm very logical with poor interpersonal skills, but as far as i'm concerned, the truth speaks for itself.

i've grown enough bud to have TWO generations of VIABLE seeds. if someone doesn't want to accept that info, that's their biz, but telling others how to interpret it is lowbrow playground grade bullying. i respond violently top bullies, the more the merrier, and i've chased bigger and more than me away more than once.

i'm getting better bud from what i "fuck up" than 25 years worth of "properly grown" indicrap. that isn't open to debate! i'll take my gear, even the most generic of it, over virtually anything i've ever bought since the 80s. that's gotta sting cash crappers to see someone dissing their schwag so openly, but i like getting high and high only. the sour diesel i scored last month was overpriced, but better smoking than sour cream if not as tasty and CH9 jack, but all of the other hazes, jacks and thais i've tried matched it or were better. i seek out gear that's as far from indic a as possible and share my results. no one else is reporting on the strains i've tried like lemon skunk, saliva trans-love and as far as i know, to this day, not HQS' haze x skunk. trying to suppress that info is the DEFINITION of conspiracy.

i liked the taste of my JW C99 and super cali haze better under halide than i did the cross under sodium. i've provided EVIDENCE that supports the "halides = quality" claim from multiple sources, answered the erroneous claim that halides DON'T produce UV and so on, yet i'm still under fire by liars who for some crazy ass fucking reason that eludes me are perceived as more credible! it makes no sense whatsoever!

LOL bro. Im not saying your experience with each strain isnt right, im saying for you not to give growing advice. Strain reviews are personal taste but growing is either done right or wrong, not that there isnt many right ways but the way you show or talk is on the wrong side. You seem to have the biggest mouth of all, very similar to Jogro....By the way i prefer Sativa over indica everyday hands down. 2013 was the year of the Haze's around here. Sure theres plenty of OG and Chems but I prefer Hazes or Sativas over them. Oh yeah theres a T in Sativa, saliva is what is in your mouth!

I have tried to avoid just outright calling him out, but that above post just shows how INSANE he is....

Now, all of his SMOKE reports are from LEAVES not buds. Keep that in mind, he cuts the leaves off and smokes them and then tries to give a detailed smoke report. Really they are just re-hashed, reworded smoke reports he read somewhere else.

You know why he doesn't like most of the bud that goes around? He smokes it and he actually gets HIGH and it freaks him out, he is used to only smoking 3wk from seed leaves.

When he actually does smoke real bud he really catches a buzz instead of a placebo effect and he doesn't know how to handle himself.

As I said I respect DJ Short and have previously read most of his writings. There is a reason hps are used in single light setups during flower. Its due to the need for more red wavelength. But you can go argue with the plant over it's desired wavelength

To be completely honest, I don't have the same respect for DJ Short as most people seem to have...

He has one claim to fame, blueberry, from like 25 years ago and even it is basically a piece of shit unless you get that 1 out of 100 phenotypes. He can't even recreate it, so putting out a bunch of hermie prone, mutating bullshit. Sorry for those who are big DJ fans.
He was hot when there was virtually no competition. Now I wouldn't touch a single DJ Short strain when there are so many bad ass breeders with non-mutating hermie strains that actually have keepers in a pack.

It does seem odd that when modern breeders produce a strain that hermies they are raked over the coals, but with blueberry it's just part of the experience.

Everyone in this thread calling this guy out is doing a community service. I almost fell for his bullshit when I started growing, then someone gave me the bright idea to look at his plants lol. If you can call them that. Kind of like dead sticks if you ask me.
