Wow, this thread is nuts, I came into it thinking the guy was joking around obviously, but the fact that this has carried on kind of bothers me, are we not here to try to have peace? how do you expect to gain peace through more war? our soldiers are over there fighting tooth and nail, we sit over here and protest the job they are doing, the job they HAVE to do, the job that none of us wanted to do, the reasons we are over there might be bad ones, what we have done over there so far might have been for nothing, but I know one thing, those men and women who have lost ther lives, their family members, their best friends, would not sit here and tell you that "bombing" them is the right answer, I haven't read all of this thread, but I think that I should roll up a blunt and we will discuss how peace is a much easier way to accomplish goals than war is.

it just seems like if theres no one trying to make it fair for everybody in this crazy world it would all turn into an inferno. as the leading nation in power, the USA must do our best to make sure this doesnt happen. however we are all human, and with power, comes blame if things go wrong. so appearnt u see it today

the best way to avoid this is to allow poeple themselves to vote all over the world.

now if the people vote to destroy the earth you cant do nothin about that

but we all know the "people" of earth wouldnt do that unless brought to the brink of extinction

hmmmm my 2 cents since i seem to know about these things from a personal angle...

I don't practice a religion, nor do i give two shits what anyone here thinks of the middle east, My family is From Lebanon(christian and muslim) none of them like Israel not because of religion, but because of the brutal tactics used by the Israeli government-why can't someone hate Israelis, but not hate Jews? because of the bullshit pumped thru the media. I was in beirut a year before Israel bombed the shit out of it, i watched news reports and saw pictures of what they did while it was happening, and i went back for a week in 07, nobody in the US gave shit that the Israelis had killed mostly women and children, because they were all branded as muslims-however many who were killed were in christian parts of the country...and consequently many were also christians.

As for Iraq, I've never been there, nor do i feel the need to ever go there. Sadaam fucked it up, then the US fucked it up more, at least when Hussein was running it the people weren't out killing each other based on shiite or sunni, seeing as that has never happened anywhere ever before in the history of Islam. But fuck it we went there we killed way too many people, we destroyed thousands of future generations with DU and all sorts of other shit, we broke laws using weapons that are banned under protocol III(cluster bombs white phosphorus...etc.) and admitted we were wrong toi invade based on WMD's....go America!

Iran is fucked up, they are twisted, and everyone in the muslim world outside of Iran knows it too. Should Israel be allowed to continue killing palestinians without regard to international rules of engagement? should they be allowed to attack places deemed muslim countries based on just religion? They are doing exactly what was done in the Holocaust if not worse, since 1948, they treat christians the same as they treat muslims within their borders, why dont they go back to europe or they can all come to the US since we get along so well....but no, nobody wants them, we want them to stay where they are so we don't have to deal with their shit.

All the remaining oil reserves are arond the caspian basin. IRaq is to control the remaining oil reserves and launch more resource wars. I suppose you have not looked at the pice of oil these days. It is only going up up up...

By 2012 gas will be in the 12-15 dollar a gallon range...

When looked at in the Peak Oil context it makes sense,


Iraq has NOTHING to do with terrorists. It is a new level of global imperialism to control the remaining oil reserves.

Iran's new president created a sense of outrage in the west yesterday by describing Israel as a "disgraceful blot" that should be "wiped off the face of the earth". Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who is more hardline than his predecessor, told students in Tehran that a new wave of Palestinian attacks would be enough to finish off Israel.


The populist leader's comments, reported by the state-run media, come at a time when Tehran is under pressure over its suspect nuclear weapons ambitions and alleged involvement in attacks on British troops in Iraq.
