lol i havent started the basement yet. currently trying to button up my garage build out. I'll be starting the basement in a few weeks. currently working 50+ hrs a week at my day job and only have time to work on building out my rooms after work and weekends. plus im kind of lazy so its getting dragged out far longer than id like.Yeah I seen this picture 6 months ago. it looks like the F8-PLUS is lm301b/h diodes with added 660nm, the F8-MAX has added 660nm 395nm 730nm diodesLooks like I have the f8 plus 650 I guess. They were called the mj 650 when I bought mine idk lol
You’re making this a lot more complicated then it is. You should probably build a room prior to getting lights anyways.Doesn't look like meijiu can do 90 CRI diodes anymore. I'll probably keep on searching for someone who can. Some other vendors have mentioned 84, 85, 88 cri lm301b but I don't see that samsung even offers that.
Your not going to find 90cri from mejuiu or most other vendors. DIY is your best bet for cri 90.Doesn't look like meijiu can do 90 CRI diodes anymore. rs aren’t 100% efficient. The HLG-600H-48 is rated at 96% efficiency at 230+VAC and even less efficient at 100-120VAC.
Interestingly if you go to the Samsung website, you'll notice that they added an "H" to all their diodes that have shown to be suitable for growing plants. LolThey actually both have the antisulfur coating, just that the H is marketing it. Its basicly a top binned B, where theyve binned for ppf and not lumens, no other difference.
Its been confirmed over and over, its top bin and the binning is done in ppf instead of lum. Thats all there is to it, theres nothing special about the lm301h its just a top performing B, nothing else, with a bit of marketing sprinkled. Both hlg and greengenes have confirmed this.Interestingly if you go to the Samsung website, you'll notice that they added an "H" to all their diodes that have shown to be suitable for growing plants. Naw... it's can't be just marketing right? Haha
In Canada here without catching very good sales your gonna spend that on a DIY of the same wattage anyways. Dunno about where you live.so i talked with meijiu they dont want to ship by the sea 1 unit and in total its end up 780+$ also lots of fishy answers like trust me.so now i thinking go diy, looking for smart people suggestions
*what boards should i buy how mach of them? i gess the frame size will be 110x110cm or 115x115cm (4x4 flower tent)
*what driver/s and should i split or take 1?
*is it easy to add dimer? and which one recommended ?
*which wires and etc ?
and would be nice is someone can drop good guide for noobs on diy
thanks for help
unless you want to do a LOT of learning then mejui is still your best bet. 780 is a lil high but compare that to the other ones at 1500+. 1 dollar a watt is a very good deal. DIY is only cheaper if you find deals.so i talked with meijiu they dont want to ship by the sea 1 unit and in total its end up 780+$ also lots of fishy answers like trust me.so now i thinking go diy, looking for smart people suggestions
