DO NOT move them while on. These connections are junk! ive already had a pcb burn out on me in one fixture and its very new still. You HAVE to raise one side at a time or turn them off. The lights are GREAT but the connections are super cheap junk. i had to pre bend mine to even get it installed.I just got em and I’ll say the only downfall is the lights will go out when you raise them unless you raise all four corners at the same time. It’s really annoying. Other than that it’s a solid light.
now that i look at this closer, my inventronics drivers are not putting out 650w...... 2 of them is pulling 1230 watts from the wall, both maxed out. Either someone lied to me about the inventronics or there is a problem that im not too concerned about ?
I haven’t tested mine since the day I got them. I will this weekend and let you know.now that i look at this closer, my inventronics drivers are not putting out 650w...... 2 of them is pulling 1230 watts from the wall, both maxed out. Have you tried testing each individually? Might be in the aux cable itself connecting the drivers possibly?now that i look at this closer, my inventronics drivers are not putting out 650w...... 2 of them is pulling 1230 watts from the wall, both maxed out. Same as you sir , i played with them for a couple days before installing them and aint messed with um since i fixed the burnt pcb. quick fix , didnt even think about testing anything when i did that.Have you tried testing each individually? Hopefully I didn’t fuck mine up. I’m at the point where I don’t need to move them up anymore. But in the future I will turn them off.DO NOT move them while on. Nah you didnt hurt them at all but try not to do it again. If you do one side at a time and perfectly raise them equally then you can go about 10" up on each side at a time. sucks but they are great lights.Hopefully I didn’t fuck mine up. Ask @bk78 i believe he has some f8's and they are way better built then the a8's. They may or may not have the same pcb in there to separate each strip. Its a very easy work around but 100 of them is different. Im not sure the price can be beat even with rewiring but i may be wrong.I was going to put in an order for 100 of the F8 lights, but if I have to open each one and have them re-wired , I might have to go elsewhere.
