I bet you end up preferring the later chopped nugs to the colas.. I've never done WW myself, but friends have (bc seed company's), and the 70th day seems to be magical..
Your plants may be different though.. Thats why brutal honesty by your testers is critical..

I guess the colas at 9 weeks were at about 63 days then, when i cut them. that means in 7 days i should notice a big difference in the lowers, or not now since i cut the colas? Oh forgot to mention, thanks for the last post, thanks for not givinng up on me man! :joint:

I can't say his changed much visibly in the late days at all.. He had 9, and chopped about 1-2/day starting about the same time you did.. They were all identical clones.. We joked that maybe somebody might have snuck into his room and laced his plants right before the end..

Ya know how when you're an experienced smoker you can shake off a buzz pretty easily if you need to?.. Well with the later harvested stuff that wasn't so much the case..

It was all good weed! Don't worry about that..
Again, those were BC Seed Company WW.. I really don't know their lineage..

Well i figure she probably needs a few days to recoop from having her heads cut off on friday. I'm gonna just watch the trich's and watch the calyx swell up. Even if it takes two more weeks for the lowers to look more mature.
You say there was no visible change, does that count for trichs also?
Just wondering if they will still amber out like the colas did. first time chopping the colas and letting the rest go... :-P

They really looked done earlier than they should have.. Like day 60 the trichs were well more than 60% cloudy, but no real amber noticable until almost 10weeks.. He hated premature weed as much as I do, so wasn't too eager.. (Plus weed was a plentiful)..
IIRC buds didn't swell much really late, It was kind of a tough call, but worked out..

I think im gonna wait untill friday, which will be day 70 for the lowers still on the plant. Hope theres a big difference, i'll know for my mini sog goiong on in the cabinet now.

UPDATE:

Well, the WW colas went into the paper bags and are drying up nicely, so crystaly still!! :mrgreen:

I took the shears to Wilbur tonight, my retarded runt PPP plant. She is the one i let grow into a SOG style as a tester, and i must say it worked out alright.
For a dwarf of a plant the whole bud weighed in at 29 Grams wet. I'll get pics tommorrow.

The Big PPP bush is lokoing to be done on none other than 420, at least that will be the true 9 weeks in flower, not from start of 12/12.... :joint:

Should be a good day, smoking some WW and chopping down the big girl.......I'm gonna need to fire up the stihl for this plant when I chop her down. The stalk is huge and solid...rock hard! My guees is an easy OZ off her after its all done with.....hopefully!!LOL!!

This thing wont stop man, everyday it is swelled up more and got more crystals. I think the buds across the canopy look like little pine cones. :-P

And smell the same too :!:

Whats left of the WW at 70 days, after the colas came down 7 days ago. I think i might give these buds another couple days born.....what do you think :?:

Heres a quick peek at the veggies for the garden this year. Thes only need to be in here untill it warms up a bit outside.
Strawberries, two kinds of tomatoes, in soil and hempy test run!
Of course there is the PPP clone in there just to keep one going through the garden start period.
Also, the Pine Tar Kush seed FINALLY cracked open, so it went into prop. plugs.

Well, I'd say the roots hit the res. on my hempy mater cup. She finally stopped drooping and looks to be pulling through! :clap:

here is my hopeful mothers, from clone, planted in soil about a week ago, and finally started showing progress two days ago. The yellow stake is WW and the white stakes are PPP. Thats the last of the mohican for the WW, if this one doesn't grow, i'm screwed. Unless i rejuv.

And finally the newest addition to the collection......we have the Northern Lights sprout, and the Violator Kush Sprout! :clap:

I used some superthrive all the way through with these from bean soak, and have noticed a big difference in growth. I'm sold, and at walmart they have the 2000 dose bottle for like 8 dollars.....SCORE!!! :-P

Ok, so i have been trying this SOG thing and tried it on 8 plants, but flowered too early. Read somewhere to give them no veg. time, but failed to read the part that said to take the cuttings at 8 inches long.... :wall:

Of course they dont need any veg time! I took these clones like 4 inches!LOL!!! so, i let them go anyway.....not too bad, except THAT one. You'll see it :-P

im transferring mine from fluoros to MH this morning for a week or 2 before 12/12.

LOL....ok well look good, cuz its all changing and growing fast!! Its a little hectic having so many things going at various stages, and i hope the WW pulls through too...i got plans for that thing!! :hump:

i got them under the MH today. i thought about using the MH for flower but i have 5 or 6 HPS ballasts, so im gonna use a couple of 400w HPS for flower. ill start with 1 then as the room gets full ill start up the second one.

You can get mh conversion bulbs for those hps ballasts. I actually have an extra 400w mh that goes in a hps ballast. If you want it, I'll ship it too you (you pay shipping), I have no use for it anymore. It is a big old ed28 though, not a little t15 thing. pm me if you care. It's only been used like 500 hours.

I wouldn't ditch hps.. Got too much bud pumping power.. ~275W hps provides as many photosynthetically active photons as 400W MH.. That being said, I love having MH above there too.. I adopted a 3:1 ratio and tended to keep the buds that got the most MH for myself.. They weren't as dense, but were nicely dense still, had more flavor, and a more upper high..

thanks i really appreciate the offer. lot good people here on this site.
i have 3 -400 watt MH ballasts at this time so i have enough if these little lights. but thanks anyway. will get bigger lights someday but as for now i will make do with what i have.
i can get these industrial magnetic ballasts pretty easy and often free.

Hey guys since you are all here.
My WW colas now weigh 15.2 grams while in the bags.
The lowers came down today, and gave me 27.6 wet grams. That about what i had from the colas, so i hope this whole plant gives me a OZ total.

I moved the WIlbur stalk into the paper bag today and clipped a nug from the bottom, i'll let ya know how it does later!

Now my PPP bush is the only thing my 400 MH and has 2-3 more weeks to ride under it. I'll start the flush on her this week with the G and molasses. I like to go three weeks with flush, seems to work out better!
