Already got the heat mats, keeps it plenty warm in there for them. I think my issue was w/ lighting.

Yeah, sounds like it, seems like you have everything else. So how much snow you guys get? We only got half a foot, it turned to sleet after. Its pretty cold though

I wouldn't put even that light quite that close to unrooted clones.. 3-4" perhaps, just to be safe..
Be careful with those pads.. I know you're working in a cool area, but alot of ppl have cooked their plants with them.. They can get fairly hot over a deceptively long period of time..

Do you think it helps that i have moist perilite in the bottom of the tray?
I thought this would give a bit of a barrier from the direct heat to the roots.:?
These clones are like two weeks old, have roots, but just drooped over one night.

Yup thats right all you happy RIU fanatics....it's pic. update time.
Really getting anxious to start chopping some ladies down, but i promise...i got it under control.
I can do this......;)

Ok guys here is Lucy2, and got a lot of pics.
Tried to get some good close ups to let you guys see how sparkly she is.
Some trich shots are not 100% in focus, but some trichs are...you just gotta look a little closer.
let me know......

..***last week, i flushed everything i have. This is the end of week 7 thursday is the first day of week 8. So should i flush again, and then expect to be ready to chop by the end of the 8th week?
I need some help with trich identification, guys:?

You all remember this plant from the other weak.Plant #5
One of the two that was all sad and wilted up.
Well, now check her out. She lost alot of fan leaves, but over a two week time period. They all dried and died.
But still looking nice.
Nowhere near ready yet, though, right?

I use the fox farm trio., grow big,big bloom, tiger bloom.

and third, what type of soil??
My soil is just regular potting soil, from lowes. Sta-green brand i believe.
I mix in some OXY-Cal, and Perilite, heavy on the perilite.

Thanks man!:leaf:

I'm kind of doubting your time frame, but its hard to say.. First crops make flushing a craps shoot, but they can handle a REALLY long flush period, so no worries..
As for the mats, its insulating stuff in the tray that lets the heat build up, and water/perlite can hold alot of heat.. What worked for my ambient temps with those mats was a thin cardboard box between the tray/mat.. Allowed a little breathing room to let heat escape in a room temperature room..

Right, it is a bagseed too, so it's hard to tell when it will really be ready. But looking at the trichs looks like some have amber.
Good idea, i'll get some cardboard in there. Did you mean a slat of card board or the whole box between the mat and tray? Probably just a piece the size of the mat right?

The odd amber trich can show pretty early, just like red-hairs can.. Your pics show them to be maybe 98-99% crystal clear..
On the other side of the coin, when they're ready you'll still see some crystal clear trichromes..
You want to harvest when the bulk majority are milky.. Pay no attention to the few deviations from the norm..

ok, so it looks like i'll be going the whole last week. Thanks born.

It doesn't really matter, i would like to have a combination of some up high buds, and some couch lock buds. But i'll take whatever ya' walk me through beech.
I just wanna know when i'm getting close to make sure i can time my flush right.
Imo,you can start the flushing now,if you havent already cause a long flush has not been confirmed as a cause for death, and God nows yours need a good flush!!!That brings back a memorie i dont no if your were here, but this guy had his plants in his bathroom and was asking how to flush his plants, and he was taking pics and knocked his plant top in first in the chitter, and he even took a picture and was asking now what the hell do i do!!!I told him hell just pull the handle then your done!!!lmaoThe best 5 bucks for this grow you didnt get,the Molassass is all i would give them, cause if you sayed it taste bad the M will atleast help give you a better taste.Atleast it does mine.

Taste of premature weed isn't necessarily telling of the properly finished product.. I don't think they need much more food either, and yea a carb boost would be great..
