Expect more pics, as I was just watering Heidi and looking at the SSCROG in veg compared to the CCOB cages in flower and veg, and am likely going to remove that sscrog and put a cage over her instead. It is a bit off-center and hangs past the edge of the pail. It has already come close to ripping my exhaust vent and the round cages are much more forgiving in that area.
The cages are a lot easier to work with in general and I really think it is the key to minimizing the stretch in flower for a perpetual system. If I can keep the plants at or near the bottom ring of the cage before they go to flower they probably wont end up stretching much beyond the top ring of the cage which should keep them under 2' from the top of the soil to the top of the canopy.
My last plant I harvested from my bagseed run (which is the best smell/taste/potency so far) weighed in at 64grams after a week of curing. There is about 50 grams of tops and good buds and 11 grams of popcorn. It was topped early and flowered when it was very small, in a plain 7qt pot. It turned into an 18" bush. If I can train a 18" - 24" CCOB, using 2 - 3 gallon smart/air pots, I am sure I can quickly surpass 2oz's per plant.
