@butterbudface
first off, the key to proper cloning is PROPER LIGHTING (more on this in a sec), a PITCH BLACK root container, and a 50/50 mix of air and water, build up the cloner in my signature when its ready move on to the next step
clones should be cut with a sterile instrument at a 45 degree angle, use lower branches as they contain more of the auxins that can produce roots. Cuttings should be taken with at least 4-5 nodes including the top, they should be NO LESS THAN 5 inches for best results.
45 degree cut should be made ON a node, cutting the node in half. the branch membrane should be lightly "scraped" then the stalk should be slightly split with your sterile instrument (about an inch long split). Making a Y shape like this provides more surface area for potential roots to start forming. at this point if you're using a rooting hormone (powder or gel) its time to dip. Then into the cloner.
The cloners reservoir should be entirely light proof, foil tape works great! I will stop here for a moment to state that roots do not like light, if you choose not to light proof your results will be dramatically slowed (upwards of 21 days to root). Also, the importance of oxygenation is extraordinary , the water should be nearly foaming with the amount of extra oxygen being pumped through it. Your clone room should have miniscule amounts of light... a single 13 watt daylight/6500k fairly far away (12"-18" away) should be enough, after all we're not trying to grow any foliage. I feel like the benefits of "tipping" (cutting tips off of clone leaves) are small and should not be done with bubble cloners. Also there is no reason to mist foliage of rooting (bubble style cloner) clones.
Water temperature should never get higher than ambient air, there is no reason to heat the tub/reservoir it only promotes algae growth. Monitor PH and try to maintain only tap water with low ppm/tds count (particulates per million/ total dissolved solids), any fluctuations should/can be fixed by a weekly water change.
Under OPTIMAL conditions with my cheap cloner I have seen roots in 5-7 days 100% able to plant every clone every time. Grodan and rock-wool are a waste and a pain in the ass, once you get bubble a cloner going, you'll wonder why you ever used it...
BTW the drooping looks most likely to be overwatering caused by the rock-wool being enclosed and not being able to "breathe"....
I'm sorry I missed a bit, I forgot to sub in to your grow, but I am now. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, if I can't help I can point you in the direction of someone who can...
Good Luck!
