New to growing need help

Ya man you're gonna be growing some dank shit in no time. I researched a lot before taking my first dive, and still made some mistakes. I remember all the misleading info I got on forums. I found that actual facts, and books were a lot more help :)
 
well look u could veg for three years if u wanted to u have to put it into flowering. but id say if u want it within a reasonable amount of time id do 12-16 inches to start flowering. up to u though everyones diff

Hehe no 12/12 is flowering. For veg you're gonna want 24/0 or 18/6. The veg stage you can't control, as long as there is light it will go right into the veg stage from the seedling stage. You can however control when you induce flowering 12/12

I know I corrected that but how tall the plant until i can sex it?

your plant will show sex during the veg stage, but that could take 2 months or more. By that time your plant will be at least a good ft. AT LEAST!!! When you hit the height you want your plant to be (keeping in mind your plant will double in size) you can induce 12/12 lighting. Sex signs will come in about 2 weeks after you induce flowering.
 
Well the plant has been out of the soil for almost 5 weeks pretty much the same size in the picture i posted on the 1st page but im assuming it has to grow more maybe another month

Please stop using height comparisons. Every strain is different. You can flower as soon as you'd like. If you want a short overall plant, flower early. If you have room to accommodate a 9ft. beast (considering the genetics will permit) veg for 6 months :)

damn 5 weeks dat shit is small not 2 put u down but u did have the wrong lighting and not enuff
 
Alright i got it im not trying to get it real big so maybe 10 inches then i will start flowering. So when i start it will double that size and a couple weeks after i start the flower stage i will be able to tell the sex
 
Ya think man i could have told you that. Yeah it is small right now but itll come up when i get the right stuff. Will the plant still be ok?
 
Your plant at it's current state is very small. when you get the lights it will probably start to speed up. To reach 10 in. I'm gonna say you'll need at least 1-2 more months (at this rate):)

wen u switch to 12/12 after 1-2 weeks u will be able to tell and the end result will be double the size
