official GOP debate #1 thread

I read your response and you do make good points. I am on my phone and watching my son compete in a Jiu-jitsu tournament so I won't respond to your lengthy rebuttal. I will leave you with this. Economic inequality, is basically what you are fighting for. Do you not realize, that the bigger the gap between the poor and rich, the faster the economy will fail? Your economic delusions, will lead us down the path to a third world economy. Is that what you want? If so, Mexico is close by.

Let me ask you this, How far do the poor have to fall compared to the richest 1%? The 1% are all that`s worried about collapse, the poor will just see it as Monday or which ever day it happens.........

Magine Paul wins the nomination and after saying Trump buys and sells people like himself, Trump has to support his ass,....yo man fuck that. Who the fuck would do that ? Better yet, Who the fuck would expect that ?

I aint one..........

Most of America don`t care about Party affiliation, only the one`s with "Paid" on their resume. If you go "J walking" and ask America what the RNC and DNC are, they would more likely say a football team first.......

Support for civil rights in this country by enlightened religious communities was necessary to get the civil rights laws enacted in the first place. That evangelical Christians are working hard to erode those rights doesn't take away the good that has been done by those of faith. Shared religious belief is a powerful organizing tool and I'll take Judeo-Christian values over whatever it is that's going on in N Korea.

That said, I'm with you in that its time to use reason rather than dogma to make decisions. Reason is not unknown among people of faith either.

Freedom to observe whatever religion is a core value of this country. I respect the right of people to observe whatever religion they want. Just don't ball that faith up into a fist and use it against others.

Good points. Religion did help during the Civil rights movement. But I'm concerned with modern day religion. Yes, there are religious people who do good and go above and beyond the norm, to help a fellow human being. However, religious people are not exclusive to this. Lots of people help others, simply because it's the right thing to do.

The problem is, religion and civil liberties cannot coincide. What side are you on?
