August 7

gave my baby some water just plain tap almost 2gals she seemed to take it all maybe shy 1L to 2gals. humidity all week has been insane here supposed to be "dry" so the fucking weather lady says but it's nothing but dry. technically it is still summer but really summer has ended for us only thing left is the heat. won't get cooler until around september.

canopy is looking more full then it did yesterday and sites have slightly more pistils then yesterday

Definitely ease up on defoliation, even if leaves are damaged they can still do their job if they are on there, it’s the bugs your wanting gone. Personally I would switch to wiping the adults off with a peroxide rag duly to try and at least keep in check.

yea i probably should leave as is. still need to defoliate whatever is blocking other bud sites but meh. thinking of leaving as is and seeing how good they get without pruning and then next time i will prune and compare

August 8

bud sites full of white pistils and starting to pack on more weight. bug damage idk if spreading or what but i still see some damage maybe from older leaves i left on. stem is thick af wish i could get it more thicker but i think thats mostly due to age of grow cause i know they can get extremely thick outdoors so possibly just longer veg time + bigger grow space to get um massive.

water day tomorrow just regular tap. humidity still kind of high here in general supposed to go down today/tomorrow but we will see. never trust the forecasts here in Hawaii always says it will rain or be dry but it's the opposite; doesn't rain and humid af.

August 9

watered 1.75gals just straight tap. don't see much signs of heat stress on the leaves bunch of wind damage in the top right corner though. leaves getting crispy and turning yellow. other then that same as usual passing the days until harvest probably will feed again on tuesday.

see some drooping not sure if RH issues or just lack of water/light in those areas. guessing it's RH issue though. idk how big these buds will get but im expecting not so big. i've heard this strain from this particular breeder doesn't get very large ( on youtube ) not too sure how true that is though.

August 10

just to clarify the pic of the single top and the side angle of the 1 branch are 2 different sites. both are kept consistent though as in they are always the same top and branch if anyone was wondering/curious to see growth from those angles.

soil is kinda damp could water again tomorrow and i might have to. other then that not much going on. bud damage seemed to have slowed down or stopped. the canopy is meh.. not exactly even but it's good enough for me tbh. slowly packing on that weight and looking sexy. no smell still. thinking about doing a light defoliation/prune job not sure yet though.

August 11

fed full dosage of all flowering nutes and vodoo juice. tap water 1gal mix and topped her off with 0.75gals of regular tap because as usual 1gal doesn't do shit for her anymore. roots at the top are often getting exposed i'll try to take a pic but damn they are the thickest fucking roots i've ever gotten and oddly they are green then turn white. not sure if that is normal but i got to water on tuesday so i'll try to take a pic.

today sugar leaves seem to be packing on that good shit see a bunch of trichomes on um very little smell but it doesn't smell anything like it used to. doesn't smell sweet or stink it just smells weak. long ways to go though.

lots of pistils as you can see and more weight since yesterday. it's fairly early right now but i had to water and it's my only day off but she will have put on more weight for sure by this afternoon. i am really trying to lower the heat issues/RH somehow but damn RH supposed to go down on friday but fucking weather lady lied as usual humid af still. i have started to slowly leave the tent door more and more open if i could i'd leave it wide open 24/7 but i can't people complain the light leaking and neighbors can see or at night i watch tv on my computer so there is some light leak from my monitor to my tent. my tent is located at the foot of my bed but i lay down opposite so the foot is actually the head of my bed

August 12

just after 1 day i had to water soil felt semi dry looked dry at the surface dug a little felt too dry for my liking. took a pic of the roots i do NOT keep them exposed or at least try not to i try to cover it back up with soil.

only weird issue i got besides the temps being high running 89F right now yesterday i read 91F you don't even want to know RH likely around high 70's possibly 80's even. weird thing i got going on is the one node on the left it's FAT looks like 2 nodes in 1. i've never seen a node that fat before but idk if it's mutated or what but that shit is FAT. only fat one i've seen also so im going to pay close attention to her but it's fairly easy to spot in the pic just look on the left side and you will see it. she is at the very edge of the net towards the middle part on the left

Chunky, she should yield decent. To enhance smell and taste give a little sulfur and magnesium boost with some aminos too if possible.

im feeding entire AN line so i think it has those already im not feeding certain things though like piranah and the spider one cause they dont sell those here but i forgot what those were for. i've been feeding amino's for sure idk about sulfur and im sure it has mag as well. was smelling good until i sprayed the plants then the smell just fucked off

August 13

sugar leaves getting coated in that good shit. still don't smell anything. had to give her water again just 1gal tap at this rate tomorrow i might feed again because thursday im going out for drinks.

took a pic of the big ass mama top it's the first pic but top one. she looks mutated imo like 2 small tops formed into 1.

EDIT- TEMPS are super high 89F yesterday was 90/91F when i checked and RH today is 61% not bad tbh humidity has been going down since past 2 weeks man it was so humid balls sticking to my thighs. night time temps drop to around 85F

August 14

fed full dosage 1gal same as yesterday soil is fairly dried out. tomorrow i probably won't be watering going out to have drinks supposed to be going out early since friend works night shift but knowing them they gonna be late.

pistils starting to turn red not all but some have. got to look for my nirvana i should still have a lot but i think someone stole it or used it and didn't put it back. don't remember when i feed that but i'll check later on today.

so far so good imo expecting these buds to be bigger then what i usually grow just by the looks of them right now.

TEMP- 88F RH- 59%

switched to sleeping the regular way so imma try and leave my door open at night to exhaust the extra heat/get more air flow going but i checked in the middle of the night since i had to take a fat shit and temp was 85F which is pretty high tbh. usually night time temps at around that hour is high 70's at the least. supposed to start getting cooler weather as well starting tomorrow so they say..

August 14 Continued

took a pic with the lights off but camera flash on found out it's easier to see trichome development this way when lights are off. will try to continue doing this see if any difference occurs over time but im going to be adding it to my original daily posts starting tomorrow ( if im not super drunk ) doubt i will be work super early on friday and saturday

taking pics with my s6 phone nothing special can't see shit obviously so pics may end up blurry. plan to eventually buy a camera and start doing time lapse video's in the near future.

August 15

just got home kinda drunk and im just ready for bed. lights went off but i checked this morning not much change tbh simply just tired af to turn lights on manually and take pics with it on. soil was moist this morning but it was a hot and humid day so i expect it to be dry tomorrow.

August 16

pot was very dry don't think plant can handle 2 days with no water. she took 2 full gals easy. kinda iffy about where they are at because they still look the same from 2 days ago imo. tons of white pistils but barely any bulking up. just going to wait it out and see where this goes.

totally forgot i didn't upload pics so i just added the lights off to original post. idk if this will be my norm way of doing it sometimes i fall asleep at this hour ( 5pm here right now ). overall plants looking good to me. see very slight bug damage from laces still maybe it's old damage but other then that i see heat stress issues and thats about it. some slight tip burn but no other issues.

my compost is over flowing but i just added more food to it but i was thinking of topping this pot off with some vermicompost see how she takes it or if it even makes any difference at all. she has idk like 7 weeks to go i would say 7-9 more weeks i think. slightly more frosty it looks like sometimes when i open up the tent if i close it fully it smells whack. smells like fart but that could be because i have a towel right under the pot to try and soak up any run off since i don't have a drip tray the size of the pot. other then that though i still don't smell anything maybe it will come later down the road when they swell up more

Ill be following this. I've grown Pineapple Chunk now about 10 times. This strain from Barneys is my all time favorite!! I smoke every day and I smoke allot, this strain i can smoke for three months straight and still get high every time.

From my experience, she stretches allot in the first 2-3 weeks of flower. The yeild was amazing and provided big thick chunks of buds. Enjoy this, your lucky. Here in Canada, I'm unable to get my paws on that strain anymore...

mine didn't seem to stretch that much when i flipped i didn't know what to expect though since this is my first time growing it and i only got 1. Why can't you get it in canada? i buy from GYO thats where i got mine from i've been waiting for Hawaiian Snow to go on sale but seems like everyone is sold out on that strain all the time. being from Hawaii i want to grow something kinda from Hawaii i guess or "supposedly" from Hawaii to see how well they do with the high RH year round. not interested in Maui Wowie though but that is the only one i can think of. i know there used to be a lot grown here but not anymore.

August 17

watered 1 gal only soil was moist but felt dry. kinda early as well but it would of been more dry later on anyways. don't see much progress going on tbh feels like this is gonna be a long ass flowering usually at this point buds are started to get much fatter then they are now on other strains that i grew.

about to get hot again. right now not much wind and i think humidity is gonna go up starting today but it says starting tomorrow.

will be adding night photo later on it's only 2pm here lights go out at around 5pm so i'll upload in like 4 hours give um some time to relax a bit

Around here with Cannabis being legal now federally their trying to outlaw imported seeds. The seed banks around here have ran out and has advised they will not be restocking them due to the new laws.

ahh i see yea that is how it is here in Hawaii they want you to purchase within state so they generate more revenue if i am correct. you ever try buying online though? i always buy from GYO seeds at least and i NEVER have any issues thus far and my state has crazy laws against importing items here especially plants and animals they are very conservative about species and bringing in invasive species and all that. never had my seeds seized yet but i usually order like 5 at a time only cause i don't grow too much and i always want to try new strains and not save them in the fridge for a long time.

Good to know and thanks for the heads up. I think the next time i'll give them a try and see how it goes. Since you didn't have any issues getting them there considering your laws there. I've never ordered online as I did have reliable sources here, which they are no longer. Their (GYO) prices seem pretty decent also, and noticed the Pineapple Chunk is their strain of the month .
