If it was spidermites they would multiply & you would see them I grew p\c when it first came out one of the tallest plants ever , the smoke was good though
Mine did not fit Barney's description at all very sativa dominant in her growth characterYeah it is good smoke. Grown it before. Tho mine was a 9 to 10 week grow.
Are you checking the undersides of the leaves or the top? With light webbing that sounds exactly right. Maybe grab us a pic of the undersides?
Anyways they can come in on your clothes sometimes or from animals.
The only time I've ever been infected with them is from when I bought a palm tree from walmart. They were on that then must have got on my clothes and then got on my plants. I would suggest after this grow you clean the heck out of your grow tent and get new soil and pot.
Yeah I understand. The first time I grew it...it was amazing. Grew 10 plants and all were big fat leaves dripping with resin. After that I got some more and it wasnt the same. Very sativa dom ... And not nearly as frosty. I finally stopped growing it because it was not like what I grew at first.Mine did not fit Barney's description at all very sativa dominant in her growth character
I had that problem with superlemon haze made the mistake of letting my favorite cut get away thinking I would merely buy another pack later ...well I was wrong lolYeah I understand. Sprayed her with captain jacks hopefully it will be safe to ingest when she is done. i don't think it will be but figure i take better care of her. i think i see the bugs on the top of the leaves but they are tiny. sprayed the underside as well and a lot. room smells chemically venting it out.
pic of under my canopy you can see all the dead leaves and popcorn buds. could of used more lighting but i am working with what i can cost and equipment wise plus i don't smoke often anymore like i used to so it's just for fun/learning. she is still looking nice regardless and hopefully i can control the bugs.
still lots of white pistils and i think she still needs to bulk up much more as well. my flower grow as you can see a shit load of the seeds sprouted some are dying since i fucked them up via watering and they fell over but i figure natural selection if they cannot handle that they don't deserve to make the cut. i am off tomorrow so i might spend some time cleaning up my canopy removing all that dead shit.
watered her with tap water only. will be pumping her with overdrive soon i think and maybe start leeching her in another week depending how the pistils start looking and if more white ones start popping out.
i don't plan to save the popcorn buds. i used to just because.. but they are a bitch to trim up and i rather deal with the bigger nugs. i plan to wet trim this grow though. i've already dry trimmed before but it's very tedious i don't got that time plus i want to see how they compare smoke wise and appearance wise in the future.
i have a microscope just really busy with gaming atm i got like 0 downtime to really do shit besides water and feed my plants. work, feed dogs, walk dogs, feed cats, wash dishes from dogs, feed my fish, laundry, just basic chores then my plants and then straight to gaming and bed and rinse and repeat. my time zone is behind on all my friends who play so i got to try and get on asap to spend time with them as by the time i get home it's already like 8-9pm there time. they know i grow though same ones who got me into growing but they quit growing after their first grow i guess they had major issues they didn't want to fix like lighting issues so they just quit.A jewelers loupe helps in these situations , helps in spotting mites , eggs as well as identify leaf damage
i keep a mental note outside of my journals. usually after so many times of dealing with the same issues it just comes natural. i used to keep a journal but it got too tediousIt’s a race to the finish! At the end you can wash gently with water and H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) then dry. Should be ok! Ultimately you’re learning how to deal with a wide swath of problems so if your goal was to learn make sure you’re paying attention, do you have your notebook?
lower what? to me it all looks the same damage wise like they just slowly look messed up and start turning brown. with the lower buds though the damage is up to the sugar leaves and because it got trichomes it looks funky at first i thought it was PM but i think that is just due to the caked on trichomes and the sugar leaf ending up getting messed up.it’s kind of tough to say without seeing the issue. It doesn’t look too bad to me, I’m sure it will finish. If you could snap some pics of the lowers damage I would like to see.
I'll try take pics of the fan leaves damaged and the popcorn ones i was telling you about. It does look like eome sort of defiency but so rapid too thus why i think bugs as well.I guess a good clear shot of one of the fan leaves would be great, in these pics you have the damage is in the background and when I zoom in they just look mottled. Honestly it looks more like som kind of deficiency imho. But I’m throwing darts based on your words, I’m just as curious as you are at this point.
yea it is weird though because i never seen this on my old grows but i tried new feeding which is feed, water, water, feed. usually i feed, water, feed, water or feed continously but at smaller dosages that is why i been trying to pump her up with more nutrients lately see if any fixes. That’s totally understandable
Try to get a leaf that’s just damaged and one that’s partly dying so that I can see the progression. I also think that it may be deficiency because the leaf damage appears to be isolated to the old growth, bottom up, which speaks to cannibalism. Also, progression will show the elements being transported from the leaves to compensate.
