hmm ive never heard that one before?
im newish to hydro but i start them on half strength for 2 weeks then i go full and they just explode. i just gave them full strength the other day.
and ya i think im gonna not water so much but they look good so im not sure what to do i dont wanna piss them off.
does the warm air humidifier keep the temp up? i havnt heard of one of those.

UPDATE all the plants look great except the wonder woman isnt as perky as the others. what a bitch lol

yup i got the fan under control.
and the heating mat actually put the rez into a better temp.
im interested in the humidifier. so you just put fresh water into and leave it close to the plants? or should i put it at the back of the room?
ill throw some pics in here this weekend

thanks for stoppin by :)

hey guys pics coming sunday again!
its kinda odd tho... so my rez is from a while ago and i had a mark on it for ten gallons so i filled it to the line then added nutes.
well turns out today the line has been wrong. it was only about 5. so last week i put twice as many nutes as i was supposed to :(

yet no harm to the plants?? a tiny tiny bit of burn on 1 but thats it?
kinda weird right?
problem is fixed now tho i flushed them for a bit and put 3/4 strength in.

saw good improvement even tho i messed up the nutes.
the wonder woman ends curled a tiny bit
but her new growth is lookin very good.
tallest plant is a little over 8 inches.

hopefully by next month ill be able to clone and finish the flowering room and
get some tasty medicine :P

heres some pics
any questions or comments are welcome

Looking good dude! Did I miss what you're working with this time? I got the strains, but I'm guessing it was seeds that went male on you last time? Are you working with seeds again here, feminized seeds, clones?

Doesn't growing in Colorado in the winter rock!? Everyone else is battling heat, I'm trying to figure out how to keep my girls warm when the light goes off! I've got a little heater I got at Wal Mart for $45 that kicks on every time the temp in the room drops below 70. It basically runs all the time. I'm gonna experiment with it's timer though cause it doesn't really need to be on when the light is. It works well though. The temp hasn't dropped below 68 at night yet so I'm pleased.

I'm sub'd up, always willing to support a fellow CO grower!

Hey guys i finally got around to getting a thermometer and i have no clue about temps i think ive heard from 70-89 so take a look.

also put in some pics because i was cleaning up in there.

i got the mylar up and the tray is dirty from nute salt to ill clean it sunday.
- also it looks like i bit off more than i could chew with all the strains and not enought room so im gonna veg the purple cindy in the bubbler
and clone her while im flowering the others once i get the room built.

Mid 70's is ideal, however they can go up to 80 and down to 70 (maybe a little more depending on the strain) In a perfect world they sit around 75/76 all day.

Where you at in Colorado? If you want to turn loose some bubblegum or purple clones one of these days I'd happily trade you. I've got some juicy fruit going right now, but should be getting some skunk #1, hawaiian, and some white widow x trainwreck clones sometime this week from a dude in Park County. I'm pretty stoked!

And those plants are looking solid! How long before the roots start emerging from those cubes? Are you going to add more buckets? Or put some of them in soil? Looks like you're going to get a little crowded for sure! Not sure what you've got where you're at but the HydroShack up here sells 5 gallon buckets for $7, lids for $5, 2 port air pumps for $15, and air stones for $2-$6 depending on the stone. So you're looking at roughly $30-35 bucks a bucket + hydroton if you wanna add more buckets. Are you planning on running 4 in your bucket now all the way to harvest?

ill PM you with that info.

but ya roots are in the cracks and their gettin pretty big but i wont let them tangle.
i dont think ppl are understanding cuz its not built yet but that storage room is pretty deep so behind the veg table im gonna section it off and behind will be the flowering room. i have a 3x3 tray and another drip setup. so im gonne veg them untill they get around 17-20 inch and then i have 5 pots with hydroton im gonna put them in for flowering. so after this first go ill get fresh bud every 2 months. just keep cycling them in and out.

very impressive. plants are looking strong. I have some about a week behind yours right now. and with a similar setup, I'm curious to see how your grow turns out. Keep up the good work!

Hey Cyber

More pics man, they look bomb. WW made my place smell all nice and danky. How much longer till that area is built? Cause if its gonna be awhile you could put em in some larger grodon cubes?

it should be done within the week my gf and i hung up the tarp today to section it off.
ill add pics sunday as usual. and how would i put them in larger cubes?
they all have the same 1 inch hole in them.
the roots are fine they grow into the cracks and they are easily transplanted when their ready for the buckets.
ive done it before so it should work out.

I do have a question tho.
we hung up the tarp to section off the flowering room and we did the best we could.
its very dark inside but the are some very tiny peices of light.
will this ruin flowering?

hey guys another sunday is here.
i think im at a lil over a month now since sproutling maybe its exactly a month.

so i finally sectioned off the room into a veg and flowering room. the stupid ass ceiling is giving me some problems with light leaks hofully i can duck tape them all up. lights are raised for pic

at a month i add my secret trace nutreints haha and they just explode with growth as you can see its very bushy on the table.

hope you enjoy
(hehe looking back at the date of the first post is hasnt even been a month!!!! hydro is amazing for growth)

Total Darkness!!! You cant have any light leaking in. Even little LED lights from different appliences will fuck shit up, like a fan or a heater or a timer. I got cheapy timers that got little red lites on em and they stay outside of my cabinets.

rockwool is killer. Everyone drips on it pro wise but I still flood. I set up a drip for this season and even with a 500 gph pump I could not get it to work right. So I said fuck it and went back to ebb and flow and rockwool. But big blocks. I want trees. What about using big buckets of hydroton with those drippers. Then you could get trees too. Gl.
