so is it good to try a clone solution and gel.
i use olivias so i think ill go get the solution to add to the mix

Ya gotta be super patient! Hes right about the pros, or ya just gotta have a super green thumb or just really lucky.

If you see any mold hairs on any of em ya gotta pull em right away too. I just checked my buddies and he hadda clone that was looking prefectly happy no roots yet, but had that stringy mold at the base of the stem. So he had to pull it.

What Ive read about clone gels and dips is its a good idea that after you dip em in whatever your useing to let them stand for 5-10 min before placing into your medium or water. Allowing the clones to absorb some of the cloning gel/dip.

Ive been using ROOTTECH for my gel with no success, thinking that im gonna switch up to DIP AND GROW next time I clone. Ive had success with D&G in the past so I dont know why i didnt just get that in the first place.

I was also using CLonex solution in the bubbler and in the failed Aero/NFT bucket I was using. Didnt really seem to matter. Once you get the clones dialed in it should be smooth sailing. And you could mail me some clones.
Be patient is all I can say.

thanks for the help i just opened the cubes to see whats goin on
i have no interest in these 2 clones their from the slow plant.

so in two weeks ill be taking 2 from each plant so i wanted to get it right.

HEH I bushwacked the shit outta my WonderWoman trying to get some clones... I sure hope my bubbler makes with the roots make'n. I pretty much tried everything but the way your doing it. ROOTS!!!

i definatly got a survivor. i put a heating mat a few inches unde the dome for warmth and she likes that.
makes the roots shoot straight down for the heat.

Do you know what temps you're running in your cloning area? Keeping it a few degrees warmer than what you'd normally grow at will help root development.

When you cut your clones slice the side about a half inch up, dip in the gel and let it hang out for 5 minutes. Then pop it in your cube and don't fuck with it! Your tugging method may work to tell if there are roots but it can also rip off teeny tiny little starter roots thus slowing you down, or even killing your clone. I'd expect you to see roots poking through after about 2 weeks and then they're ready to rock!

Adding that cloning solution to your water will only help speed up and strengthen up your progress. Good luck dude! On my next grow we'll do some side by side cloning and all get killer results. Sota can join too! If that fails we mail clones! Hahaha!

ya i wont do anymore tugging... these were simply for practice. in about a week its the real thing.
im gonna try a drop of super thrive per gallon to water them with. im not sure about the slicing iver heard mixed reveiws on it.

in 2 weeks itll be 2 months of veg!!

ive learned that i kept the light a little close the entire time giving me busy plants. but eh im ok with that.
clone still looks good but no roots poking yet i think its been about a week now. so i guess im not great at it. i wanna try superthrive next time.

heres some pics the plant i topped looks awsome.

Well alright..

im pretty happy after a few days of neglect i peeped in on the plants and i saw a nice white root poke itself out of my clone :) i did it! i saw some yellowing on the clone and was happy lol cuz i know that means its transfering nutreints down to make roots.

plants look absoulutly huge
but now is the time where not having room for buckets kills me roots are beggining to tangel and cubes look like shit.
next week is flowering time tho.

hey guys Flowering room is done!!!
got my 3x3 white tray and the 430 watter up with another drip system.

took a few clones and there ready for some flowers let me know what you think

the first picture is just to show that there is somthing behind the tarp i hung up lol.

nice job man! I have 2 females that I am going to work on cloning for practice. I'm glad I can use your exp. to help me learn as well. are you using anything for ventilation in the flowering room? or odor control?

ya i have a small fan inside and a large fan blowing air from my room into the grow room.
i think the key to have a good clone is to make the 45 cut good or even a 60 degree.
then make sure they get at least 4 hours of rest a night dont put them into 24/7

my clones arent wilting when i cut them then give them an imediant 3 hours of dark
after that put them into 18/6 or 20/4 and mist the dome as much as u can with a
low heating mat underneath. and its better to have the heating mat a few inches underneath the dome so its just warmth. i rest my dome on dvd cases to give it the right height.
using this i got my first successful batch of clones :)

ya i planted some purple bud 2 more blackjacks fem and a power kush fem

ill start a new journal when they sprout ill add pics of the black jack and afghan kush as they flower in it.

ill check out the website tho

that sucks about all those male plants. I lucked out and got 2 male and 2 female. thanks for the tip on giving the clones some rest, I had been using 24/0 on them with my veg. plants. how long did it take to get roots from your clones to break through the side of your cubes?
