thanks to all, it depends on your phone and the settings, i think, i also believe a few of the canna sites automatically strip the data. mods are getting a plug in at the farm iirc to strip photos, it showed mine. grrr.... from my cpu. also firefox has a few plug ins to view the data with a right click

O.K., if everyone now see's how important this info is,
How do we get a "STICKY" up?
It would be nice to share with the rest of the group. BB

The huge new iceberg off of Greenland (?) is said to be a potential hazard for ships.

I say, drop a cell phone on it and let the FBI track it, so they can keep the shipping lanes free of that hazard. Or how about we drop a few lbs. on it and maybe then the FBI will retrieve the whole iceberg as evidence.

I wonder, how would they dust it for fingerprints?

you could just take a snapshot of the picture when you have it opened on your computer (for macs, press apple key, shift, 4 - then drag out the area you want to be a picture), that way all the data attached to it is lost.

Didn't work for me either, just lists a bunch of computer jargon, absolutely nothing about a location... File this thread with all the "is this site really safe" threads IMO.

good news, stopped taking pictures on my phone since I upgraded. word of advice people, even if you have your gps turned off CHECK THE EXIF DATA! I found out that even with it off my phone (droid) was giving an approx location using cell towers! needless to say I haven't taken a single pic of my new op :(
