After harvesting them I can say I already have some conclusions. There were a total of eight female plants with an average weight of about 25 grams of dry bud. The plants are very similar in smell, they are very green to be smoked yet, but the smell is the kind I was looking for. Very similar to the mother plant I use as a reference. Hints of lemon or mint on some, but generally spicy, kind of warm earthy, tasty. Stronger for sure than the plants coming from the 2012' or 2005' seeds.
I bet they'll be strong in effect as well. This generation looks like the best I've made, and the 2005 Taskenti males mixed the best with the reference cut.
After smoking I'll keep one or two of the clones to keep working. I still have a very tasty lemony mother from the 2012 males that now I'll compare with these new keepers.
I'll also keep planting seeds to find the best specimens I can. Now I'll grow some old F2 I made in 2012 with the 2008 males and the keeper cut. These had some problems related to endogamy and were the last generation before the seedbank had to retire the strain, but the new males and females I made look very healthy and don't look like inbreed.
See u soon
