Thanks for the warm welcome. I consider myself an experienced beginner(around 10 crops under my belt) so I will do my best to help the total newbies, and learn from the rest of you.

We need to GROW the GANG!
I prefer grass roots! LOL!
We need to GROW the GANG!
I need to be conscienous about asking others to join if so inclined and perhaps in need of an invite. That I can do! Perhaps one of the fine bubbleheads can develop a invitation or certificate or something to show to the invitee. More ways to say welcome is a good thing.
Like Flat said, I think it is possible some people all, were, or are intimidated. But that will happen once to the new person. Only once!! Cause after we get you out of your shell, you start posting long ass messages like this one. That being said, if you are intimidated, send me an IM, or anyone that is here, we all love to help. There can't be that many people intimidated. I will take your emails. I was scared to death when I started. Doesn't seem that long ago really. But I sent Roseman an email one time and he walked me through it, and he was so nice and informative about it, and I also studied this forum everyday. That is why we have this forum. RIU is all about spreading the good of what we do, not the bad. I had what I thought were stupid questions, now I read all those same questions I asked. They aren't stupid questions. They are legitimate grow questions, and the more we all help each other, the better our hobby and product becomes.
That is beautiful and exactly the message we want to send. Thank you!
On the membership drive thing. My thoughts are that we are leading by example and those that can follow and should follow will. We are spreading like wildfire now with a simple message of help for all without attitude or drama. It's not that I don't want to grow the group as much as possible but it feels more organic to me than that.
