I have never voluntarily agreed to pay property tax even when I was a small government Libertarian or before that an ignorant Democrat, like you.
The reason many people pay is to avoid the omnipresent threat of harm and home seizure.
Some, idiots, ignorant but well meaning people, and people who rely on the parasite programs of the state predictably pay property tax willingly.
