I used to be deluded we were all different and special. It's a bunch of shit. We're all the same, we just like to pretend we're not. The only difference between us all is what we choose to accept as reality. But we all take the same input. It's not like the laws of physics are different around the successful and they have more of a luck aura, or whatever. If that were the case, then I'd have pity as to why people fuck up. We fuck up because we haven't reached our true potential on the way to enlightenment. Everyone can become enlightened once you realize what you didn't before, it becomes more clear. It's what happens while studying, once the ah ha moment hits you, it's like, why was this so hard before.

Your SES makes no difference if you have what someone needs. If you don't have what another needs, no one cares about you.

It all has to do with your skill set and how you play the game.

I'm not playing their game here online, you're all playing mine. Just so you know, none of you are winning.

i would like to count on my fellow citizens not to freak out every time they see a black person and follow them in their truck and get out and chase them when they run, lamenting how those assholes always get away as they do.

but alas, it seems like a lot of people are fans of such behavior. i'm sure if nutes&nugs got your reference and could comprehend what "unjustly murdered" means, he would not have 'liked' another one of your comments.

but then again, you might just be doing that whole sarcasm thing and believe that black kids need to be followed by creepy unidentified strangers on their way home from the store and if they die in the process, it is just justice being served.

with someone as passive aggressive and whiny as yourself, i simply can not know for sure.

so better access to transportation, the internet, a phone number, or even where you live has nothing to do with getting a better job to escape the poverty trap?

those are all SES factors that all have to do with your likelihood to get any job, much less a better job.

try handing in a resume without a phone number next time, and tell them you have no access to reliable transportation.

even your address is scrutinized by possible employers, this has been proven in studies. if you come from the "wrong" part of town, that will be held against you.

you seem more than OK with such racist practices, but i think we are better than that.

I know lots of people who lie and say they live with another person just so the employer will hire them, yes. Like a friend of mine lies about living at his mom's address, because he only live about a block away from his work. Some places don't like it if you live too close because they consider you'll take too long on breaks and become lazier. That's all part of the game, sistah.

There are also tons of jobs which only require working at home, like I do. Look up telecommuting. I know, it's a new radical sci-fi-ish concept beyond a lot of people's grasp! But I assure you it's not that complicated.

FYI Rabbit, water as in actual pure H20 doesn't have a nutritional content.

Non-pure water has minerals etc., in it, pure water is simply oxygen and hydrogen, nothing else.
