I got beat up by 2 cops when I was 19 and the dudes looked like the nerdiest motherfuckers. Def was bullied in school and its like their way of getting back at people...This sort of shit shouldnt happen. Before I even seen him push her I thought that she was trying to go for the door...

yup, that's a load of bullshit. #1, never open door. #2, when the police speak pretend your a mute and can only say "please leave, im not answering questions, i don't talk to police."

whats your name? "I dont talk to police. Am i free to go or am i being detained?"
do you live here? "I dont talk to police. Am i free to go or am i being detained?"
is that pot i smell? "I dont talk to police. Am i free to go or am i being detained?"
is that a dead body on the floor? "I dont talk to police. Am i free to go or am i being detained?"
are you intoxicated? "I dont talk to police. Am i free to go or am i being detained?"

There job is to make you self incriminate. Do not be scared of there bitch asses. It's just a punk with a gun.

This was back 2011, but check this guy out....I always thought it was "To Serve and Protect" not incriminate or coerce.

I would love to set up a smoke test for Pigs like the Pepsi/Coke taste tests you feel? I would love to see if they could actually pick out cannabis smoke from other smoke -wouldn't that be fun? :bongsmilie:

The article said they saw the weed but I heard them say smell and that BS reason to search anyone and everyone they feel like searching really needs to go! I wonder if anyone has challenged this in court. lol like the lawyer pulling a Perry Mason and proving that the cop has no idea what weed smells like, and how could he without breaking the law?

And I love how this circular reasoning works!

This just got me to thinking that their decision "not to" Mirandize may be a ploy by LEO (am I the last guy to finally figure this out ?) that if they word their statements properly then they are "not" interrogating and thus can use your words ?
Or am I just paranoid about this shit ?
To be quite frank about it, yes, I think a lot play that game with people. It shouldn't be tolerated, by anyone. If you are arrested and read your rights you should never talk to the cops, it will not help you. It is amazing how many people forget that.

As far as that girl getting treated like that I don't buy the story that the trooper felt threatened, I think his ego got threatened. That seems to be the case these days, it's gotten out of control in the past 14 years. It's not longer the mindset of public servent, now it's more along the lines of "we are the boss". Total shame, and that mindset really seems to be going through most government these days.

^^^the last 14 years? I think you meant 140 years
I won't argue that there has been bad cops for a long time, since the beginning there has. It's just how now law enforcement has really ignored the fact that you must act in good faith, or the system doesn't work. The perfect example was when judge Sedwick caught investigator Kyle Young blatantly lying, under oath. The man should of been fired on the spot, no question. What does AST do? They pay for a smell test theory by UAF to try to justify a crook with a badge theory about being able to smell pot, in a sealed room, from over 400 yards away.

Same with investigator William Welch, the man who claims he can smell it over a mile away. I don't buy any of that nonsense, how those guys keep their jobs I just don't understand.

The most recent, and pretty bothersome is the bust on 4/18 of this year in houston. MEA tipped of AST to high power usage, and they contacted that man. They couldn't get any real evidence so they just watched, and found a weak link. A native kid, I believe he was from Gambel? They caught up with the young man at the airport with 2000$ on him, and put the fear of god into that young man.

I love how they left out he was buying pot for his mother who has a card, and cancer. Total waste of time, a victimless crime. But now we are putting that man on trial in federal court.

thank you ...wow
Just think, we could be using our resources to go after real problems. Like human trafficking were the average age of the young girls are 14-17. Or heroin dealers, meth labs, domestic violence, and so on.

That was always my argument when I was a trooper, why waste time on regular people growing pot. It's insane.

I saw in the link they said 1.75 lbs of weed was worth 212,000.Wow that is a little high isn't it? Why do they always do that?

Bloody hell?? That's sickening. Not read thru the thread yet, but that video is fucking harrowing. I can't believe that in this day and age, whilst knowing full well that they're being filmed they didn't have the common fucking sense to back the fuck down and get out. When did wearing a badge put you above the law?... Oh, yeh, it's *always* put you above the law. Shit, that killed my buzz. But I'm glad I saw it.
