Ok, I gotcha...... but still if you use an appropriate gauge wire, it's still cheaper. Less wiring, less connections.

When I was College I summered as an electrician for 4 years. One summer we were building a Georgia Pacific warehouse for lumber. This thing was so big it had an opening for the train to roll in under cover and be loaded.... okay? BIG, very. We used scaffolds 45 feet high to run the ceiling 12 foot flour. lighting fixtures.......over 1200 light fixtures were hung with each room independent of each other and yet after we had tied in all of these LARGE (20 or so) industrial disconnect switches on a wall, we rigged it so the entire place could be turned on from one SINGLE ordinary looking switch. The sound that place made when you flipped that one switch, as all the HUGE disconnects all slammed in place via relays, and then a BLINDING LIGHT!!! It was an awesome job.

When the inspector finally showed up we were all ready to show him all of our artistic pipework and straight lines. he walks into this cavernous dark warehouse and says, "how do you turn the lights on? My boss says, "just hit that switch right there". The guy of course does it and BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM etc... lights!!! He just signs the sheet and gives it to us, "you passed". Nothing else was inspected Confidence....

i'm tellin ya what man.. you can do it yourself it is easy as hell... just shot off the main breaker in your house get a book or hell even read online and do it yourself.. hell i'd come do it for you for free lol (but we both know that wont happen) I would but .. (you know what I mean) ...

i'm not what you would call a big time grower but I do have a 12x12' room.. well for some sick reason lol i'm amazed and very interested in the compact cfl grows on here... so I decided to make a little box and do a small cfl grow (lol for the hell of it) well I went to walmart, bought the cfls 6 to be exact 26 watters 6500k a small fan, ducting, computer fan, sockets, 6 ft cords, power strip, perlite, soil, a cool lookin watering thing, hygrometer , and I go up to the counter.. i'm in my late 20's and this i would say 22 year old girl (tatto above her right breast low cut top , dyed hair, goes.... growin hobby huh ... now caught off guard mind you , I was like haha this is classic .. wow.. "it's a project for school" lmhao wow... seeings how ive been out of highschool for a long time, and out of college for a while lmao wow... haha.. ok ok so u had to be there to laugh lol

this reminds me of the time i went to walmart and bought a 12 gauge shotgun, a rope, some duct tape, a shovel, and some lime.... you should have seen the look on that cashiers face... lol

lol i'm by far not a kid.. but i've smoked some good sativa before (and I dont like sativa's .. love pure indaca's) went into a grocery store, picked up 7...8 things.. went up to the counter with a line behind me all the girl said was hi how are you did you find everything.. and i started laughing like a little school girl high piched .. i left the stuff on the counter and walked out laughing my ass off lmao cart boy and manager just staring at me wow it was bad... but funny as hell... best part... my wife was in the truck and goes where's our stuff ? "and what the hells so funny" ... lol

Someone talked about drilling the basement block wall for duct work. Wrong idea. Go above it to the sill plate. It is wood and easy to get a 4-6 inch hole saw at HD/ Lowes Ect... Or depending on layout, y pipe it in to the existing drier vent to avoid the question of "hey neighbor why so many drier vents out the back of the house?"

Ha Ha Ha i done something simular, went to the 24 hour garage/store at about 3am, you had to tell the guy what you wanted and hed go get it all and post it through a little drawer thing... so i got him running arround getting me all kinds of stuff, then he comes back and tells me it comes to £15.49 or something, so i go "hmmmm i was hoping to spend about £15.00" so he looks at me stupidly and says "well i can put this can of coke back" i thought about it then said "nah forget it i'll go elsewere" and walked off ha ha

I don't know what laws are elsewhere, but atleast in Ontario Canada its technically illegal to get assistance with home wiring.. The home owner is allowed to do it himself, or they can hire a licensed electrician, but no other options are legal..
