And the "citizens" are killing each other at an alarming rate, that is, if the cops don't get them first.

You wish you could live in America. It's still the greatest country in the world and folks are literally dieing to come to the land of opportunity.

I built my own "empire" by taking saving, taking risks, smart choices. I can now sit back and actually think of ways to spend so much money we'll end up taking it to our graves. THAT is the American dream. And yes, I have problem with bankers or banks. They offer me choices and financial safety.

I first visited the states in '94 as a kid. Didn't impress me then and has not done so for the past two decades. I had the opportunity to live there twice, turning it down both times.

No actually my Euro buddies live in Spain and the Baltic States...but I heard it from Aussies too. I do have some good friends here that came from Poland.Nice people.

I never played video games in my life...well to be honest I played pong and maybe space invaders once or twice back in the 70s when they 1st came out at a club ... but I havent played 1 since then.

However, MOST childhood issues could be associated with normal families simply due to the fact that the majority of kids are raised by normal families.

What concerns me would be the percentages.

Regardless, intentionally putting children into abnormal homes to appease SELFISH adults is reprehensible IMO.

He and his wife were both "very" white. There was no question about that.

So, she became pregnant. He was overjoyed. Until that fateful day in the delivery room when she delivered a very black baby into his waiting arms.

He handed the baby to her, went out to a waiting room full of his and hers family, and announced their divorce.

You see, she had a good friend who happened to be a black male...

What you would call a normal family to is not common anymore, 50% or so of American kids have parents that divorced and in some cases divorced more than once. The whole family dynamic has changed, long gone are the days when Mom looked after the house while Dad worked, now some kids will be lucky if they can narrow down Dad's identity to a shortlist of 10 former "Uncles".
A good male role model is definitely a bonus in any kids life but not an absolute neccesity IMO, the vast majority of kids with only a Mom or a Dad even turn out just fine, my point is that it's all about the parenting and if a couple whether gay or straight can give a kid everything they need to develop into a worthy human being then I'm all for that. From what I can tell those ladies want the kid to wait a few years before committing, by anybody's parenting standards that's all they can do with a kid who's trying to force the issue by threatening self mutilation. For instance If that child had been adopted by bible thumpers who forced him to play football etc then you might have a future Jeffrey Dahmer on your hands.
I was also thinking percentages because it seems to me these cases are becoming more prevalent but if you look at kids general health across the spectrum you would see things like diabetes and certain types of cancer etc are also becoming a lot more common as is ADD and ADHD , suicide is much more common in young people than it ever was especially in young men, I, like many others here I'm sure need two hands to count the amount of young men they know who have died by suicide,anyway right or wrong I believe things like but not only food additives and pesticides etc are to our detriment having an effect on our bodies and minds, it's entirely possible these kids could likely develop a gender identity crisis later in life regardless or there could be triggers like said additives and chemicals that are causing imbalances.
Besides all anyone has to do nowadays to fuck up their kid is to give them unfettered access to the internet and the job is done.
