Wow... what a disaster. Looks like the east coast is going to have a lot of construction jobs available here in about a week.
 
Travel is gonna be a problem. Tons of flight cancellations. My folks had to rent a car for vacation. Soonest the airline could get them on another flight was Friday.
 
So much for that storm being a dud, looks like it delievered in style. Never seen a shark in NY before. Fucking people, yeah go up and pet it maybe you can keep it cuz it's not really a real shark from the ocean that would kill you to settle it's stomach,no, it's a cute little never before seen street shark that is lonely in it's existence and is looking for a friend. Hmmm, wonder where it came from?
 
anyone remember the film about the homeless living in the freedom tunnel? Dark Days it was called. hope there's no one down there now.

Construction doesn't go so well during winter time. The ground freezes, constuction materials react different in cold weather....it's a bitch and a half, trust me.

Nonetheless, Sandy created more jobs over night than Obama did in 4 years.

Shit shit shit...My cousin lives right on the bay in South Jersey...Good thing he rents.......I really hope he does not try to wait out the storm in his ground floor apartment 50 yards from the water...But I think he swaid he was sand bagging and boarding shit up yesterday...His parents, my aunt and uncle, live in Ocean City, which is like 10 minutes from Atlantic City...I think they're a couple blocks from the water.

I have...They're both safe, sounds like the fared pretty well for RIDING OUT THE STORM ON A JERSEY BARRIER ISLAND...lol...But yes. we FINALLY heard from them about 2 hours ago...I'm assuming that was when they got back cell service, and we've only had text messages so far.
