When i was a young man my doctor smoked in the exam rooms & my dentist smoked while working on my teeth , he'd drill the filling a little then take a bunch of quick puffs then back to drilling the cavity.
I remember my doctor smoking while i was in the exam room for some shit i no longer remember , when i was real young i can remember doctors being in cigarette advertisements with slogans like more doctors smoke Pall Mall or Doctors recommend smoking Chesterfield ( The coughless tobacco ) ,tobacco companys gave out little 3 smokes packs as free samples at the drug stores .
We were some smoking fools back then & we smoked everywhere , the supermarket was about the only place it was considered bad taste to smoke , other than that light that bad boy up , hell patients at the hospital could smoke in their rooms ,i remember smoking in the court house while waiting to be sentenced for felony Manufacture of a controlled substance " pot " & the judge was smoking a pipe .
When i was like 7 or 8 yrs old my dad would send me to the corner store with a $5 spot & a note with our phone # saying it was ok to sell me a six pack of beer & a pack of smokes for him , never got refused once .
