How bad was/is bootcamp

Air Force boot camp is suuuuuper easy. Here's some advice.
Chose a field you can make good money at when you get out. If they're gonna train you take advantage and let them train you in something you can actually use. I don't know anything about Logistics and planning..can you make money at it?
You're not gonna take a shit for your first week. It's weird.
They're gonna make you do a lot of marching and memorizing shit, most of boot camp is boring as fuck.
I think the time was 1.5 miles in like 12 minutes or something easy like that. 20 pushups and 50 situps and you're good to go.
Here's the main thing. Don't get all nervous and fidgety when people yell at you. It makes them yell at you more.
Practice going not giving a shit when dumb people yell at you. They're going to put a huge antibiotic needle in your ass and it's gonna hurt real bad for a few minutes. Umm..what else? They might gas chamber you, that kinda sucks. Oh..they might pull your wisdom teeth for no reason. They did that to me.

Good choice with the air force..not likely to get shot at, same benefits, college money AND the air force is super pussy about everything...the accomodations are nicer, the food is better, the girls are hotter...well not hotter than marine girls but those girls get pounded out like crazy.

73-85 are actually good scores. That will get you into just about anything in the AF. Air force has lengthened their boot camp. Army actually let you come home during boot camp for Christmas. Lol.

Join any branch, just select a job that's going to get you paid when you get out.

It has been 15 years since I went through AF basic. If it is the same you will sleep about 4 hours a night. You will run from daylight to dark. They will drive Attention To Detail in your head.

We slipted up on that ....Us army boys go home for Christmas ....make a note comrade ...but yeah!!! whatever you do ensure your shit time with your govt. pays well when you are out ...so many great jobs too ...I know many fat rich ex govt. cooks ...don't shit on them cooks

my dad said they let them fuck around alot and turned a blind eye on some things when there not working on shit and he even let him have longer hair (not vary long i mean) i also understand its still the military and none of it is gonna be easy but im only going to be into logistics until i serve 4 years then ill try out for a Combat Controller job and like i said before let fate decide if i make it or not (its not a suicidal job but it will still be fairly dangerous)

but like i said before thank you for your response man i was thinking bootcamp was going to be physical activity for a full 2 weeks streight lol but i can do 20 push ups and 50 sit ups lol just the running i might have to work on hahaha

i just figured all the migraines blurred vision and dizziness was me being a pussy lol went 2 seasons of JV with the same helmet too lol didnt know it till i got a new helmet and the coaches made use the air pump and i figured out what that nozzle was for on the top hahaha

As far as this drivel, my father fought in two wars and spent 22 years in the USAF - I then devoted 24 years of my life to the service of my country in the USCG.
Very low pay and away from home over 300 days a year.
If you can say anything close to that I salute you - zero service to your countrymen earns you exactly that in my book.
