I believe it is possible to provide complete healthcare for everyone and not line the pockets of the 1%
I also think not all aspects of my existence should fantastically profit the 1%. Everyone needs an operation at some point. Why should this inevitable thing cost me $150,000, when so much of that goes to pad the various 1% involved? This isn't the case elsewhere. Look at tokyo. Anyone think they'll receive sub-standard care there? Why do they charge a small fraction of what the US charges? Same stuff, same care. 5-10X the price. No wonder people travel outside the US for more affordable health care.
The problem is, Bernie was the only guy talking about the 1%. So it's sort of a conspiracy theory almost. "there is no 1%" You won't hear trump or hillary talk about 1%

We will be able to burn coal again. When I was very young in the Fifties we burned wood for heat and in very cold weather we would burn coal in the old furnace. Gravity draft. We haven't had cold winters like that since the seventies so won't need coal. I've been cutting dead ash in one of my woods to burn in the wood stove so I'm ready for winter.

Congress didn't fund Obamacare according to the original legislation. Prices went up to make up for shortfalls. Not hard to understand unless you have a bolt stuck in between your ears.

If a person is against an abortion then they have the right to not have one. Your so-called libertarian philosophy would preclude the state from forcing this kind of decision on them. Roe V Wade was not about states rights, it was about people's rights and a woman's right to make her own medical decisions. Personal rights.
