You can create a air lock with the T version. Thanks @gr865
I know your using the 8 port manifolds, do you think the pvc layout like i posted above would work fine? or is the manifold system better for numerous reasons?
I have been looking at the floraflex multi bubbler/manifold. They seem to be getting decent reviews, few growers around here and youtube are using them without issue it seems.
i dont mind spending a few extra bucks if it means lower chance of issue or better performance.
lol ok.
You think i should still loop the manifold if i go 1 per table? or would the T version above work?
ive been looking at the floraflex 6 and 8 port manifolds with drip lines, seems like a simple setup aswell.
I like picture 1 idea best. each table gets its own manifold. How do you connect 3 x 3/8 main lines to the pump in res? Does it still need to be looped as you done on page one pics? ( 3 manifold tower you built)View attachment 4344709
I would run three seperate lines to 6 port manifolds. You can use the floraflex, I use Orbit, they come in 6 ports also. I run clean nutes so I don't have filter issues.
Or you can loop the system and attach the emitter lines like shown in this pic.

SOrry I let this go on so long, you take the coco, put it in a bag, then throw the bag away and do hydro.... unless you are into gnats and shit, then do what the other guys said.
I have been growing in coco for a number of years now and I believe the cleanliness of your grow area has much to do with getting "gnats and shit".SOrry I let this go on so long, you take the coco, put it in a bag, then throw the bag away and do hydro.... unless you are into gnats and shit, then do what the other guys said.
the best manifolds have the loops on the ground and the outlets going up, this way no bubbles get caught and the water reaches the same height at the same time everywhere.
Buy new cocoHello guys, we recently switched to coco so i have few questions.
At the moment we are planning to reuse the coco for the next harvest, and we are following canna's feeding chart where they do not flush with pure water but use boost and canazym until harvest.
My questions are:
1. Is it better to flush with clean water the last week instead of using zym and boost?
2. Do we have to rinse the coco before we reuse it?
3. If we do flush with clean water the last week do we than again have to rinse the coco before reusing it?
Thank you.
I had a shit load of spent coco, it could be reused but I prefer to compost it and start with new coco, a lot less hassle than trying to reuse it.Hello guys, we recently switched to coco so i have few questions.

Unfortunately i cannot bring new bags every round due to security reasons.I had a shit load of spent coco, it could be reused but I prefer to compost it and start with new coco, a lot less hassle than trying to reuse it.
I compost it with green waste and green food scraps, no other food scraps. I then use that compost to feed my worm bins and produce vermicompost, which I use mainly as compost tea.
