I would run three seperate lines to 6 port manifolds. You can use the floraflex, I use Orbit, they come in 6 ports also. I run clean nutes so I don't have filter issues.
Or you can loop the system and attach the emitter lines like shown in this pic.

Thanks @gr865
I know your using the 8 port manifolds, do you think the pvc layout like i posted above would work fine? or is the manifold system better for numerous reasons?
I have been looking at the floraflex multi bubbler/manifold. They seem to be getting decent reviews, few growers around here and youtube are using them without issue it seems.
i dont mind spending a few extra bucks if it means lower chance of issue or better performance.
lol ok.
You think i should still loop the manifold if i go 1 per table? or would the T version above work?
ive been looking at the floraflex 6 and 8 port manifolds with drip lines, seems like a simple setup aswell.
You can create a air lock with the T version.

If you run the manifold or the loop system, make sure your feed lines are all the same, for even flow to all emitters.

I like picture 1 idea best. each table gets its own manifold. How do you connect 3 x 3/8 main lines to the pump in res? Does it still need to be looped as you done on page one pics? ( 3 manifold tower you built)

I may even move res under the middle table and center everything on that wall, give me a little working room on each end.

When i switch to ebb and flow ill just add 2 more under the other tables.

SOrry I let this go on so long, you take the coco, put it in a bag, then throw the bag away and do hydro.... unless you are into gnats and shit, then do what the other guys said.

the best manifolds have the loops on the ground and the outlets going up, this way no bubbles get caught and the water reaches the same height at the same time everywhere.

I laughed , i will admit

Ill be switching to ebb and flow in net pots once i find a momma plant or 4.

I have enjoyed the coco so far tho, small sample size but so far so good lol

I have been growing in coco for a number of years now and I believe the cleanliness of your grow area has much to do with getting "gnats and shit".

I have done both loops, rings and stand alone manifolds, I am currently using the Orbit 8 port manifold, had 3 of them for the 24 plant SOG.
I have never run hydro of any form as I do have the weather for it, and the cost to refit the grow area would be too costly. I would really like to try it sometimes.

No, you just have to run coco to get bugs... We have tonnes of little gnats and midges flying around outside from the sports fields, you open a door with a light on inside at night and you have a roomful.
They come after the smell of coco breaking down.

I really don't miss coco, just ben asked to join in on a coco grow, I said, OK, but not at my premises... not going through that shit again. I do have a 300gal coco tub I want to grow a giant tree in though.

Ill be moving everything to ebb and flow and net pots after the next run, will do one more, maybe two in the coco before the switch. Would like to have 2-4 moms ideally. Next run i have some Wedding cake and Gorilla Zkittlez to grow, if i can get a good pheno of each for a mom, ill be all set for a while.

No issues with the coco tho , have really enjoyed growing in it

As for being a medium, it is fine... it is just the pain of buffering, filling bags and cleaning up the constant mess it produces during and the cleanup after... and of course being organic, it attracts insects that like decaying organics.

Hello guys, we recently switched to coco so i have few questions.
At the moment we are planning to reuse the coco for the next harvest, and we are following canna's feeding chart where they do not flush with pure water but use boost and canazym until harvest.
My questions are:
1. Is it better to flush with clean water the last week instead of using zym and boost?
2. Do we have to rinse the coco before we reuse it?
3. If we do flush with clean water the last week do we than again have to rinse the coco before reusing it?
Thank you.

day 39 was yesterday , heres a pic after they were supercropped , well 7/9 were

Between bday celebrations, fathers day and work, the new room has been slowly getting setup. Hopefully another day or 2. My stuff for irrigation got here today. So something else to add to the list of things to do lol.

Ill be flipping these girls as soon as the new room is ready...May give them a week in the new space to get acclimated before the flip, but no more than that, unless they showing stress signs.

I had a shit load of spent coco, it could be reused but I prefer to compost it and start with new coco, a lot less hassle than trying to reuse it.
I compost it with green waste and green food scraps, no other food scraps. I then use that compost to feed my worm bins and produce vermicompost, which I use mainly as compost tea.

Unfortunately i cannot bring new bags every round due to security reasons.
My friend uses the same coco for 8-10 months, but he puts some fish bone after each use and rinses it. To be honest i am new to coco so i am lost...
In my logic, coco is full with leftover nutrients and the salts after usage, so If i start veg in it i will have problems...

Hi guys.
I have problems, I do not know what will happen, you have more experience, it's my first coconut.
the leaves on the floor below show those symptoms always, I can not find the error
Pot: 11 liters.
Ph: 5.8
Total Ec: 1.3 Now 1.6
Calmag 0.4 ec (clean water)
Canna coco
Water temperatures 20 ~ 22.

Watering 2 per day 200 ~ 300 ml

Looks like you have had and still do have Cal/Mag issues.
I would increase the Cal/Mag.
You say clean water, do you mean RO water? What is the ppm of you water?
Are you watering too runoff, if so how much runoff?
You want at least 25 to 35 % runoff.
Can you post your fertilizer program?

I know lots of questions, not much in the way of help. Cal/Mag increase and achieving the % runoff should help but really need the other info to give you as sound of advice as we can.
