Okay, so while many others are coddling their plants, I just manhandled the shit out of my garden. Not sure if I was pissed about finding rot on my last great hope Jack auto. But I defoliated, moved plants, spread branches out, re-bent and retied down several plants. Garden looks like absolute shit right now. I couldn't be happier.
I have bent both my super skunk late starts right over to start lst, actually more like HST, lol. Found a male kush mint ill try and get some pollen from. Excited about that. Tree fell on my hot tub, gonna be fun clearing. Fucking bittersweet is a pain in the ass.
So my plan is to spray the Jack Herer auto with h202 for a couple days and then pull it.
My take on autos is this: Compared to my comfort zone, fuck them. Too much of a pain in the ass, too little work/reward ratio, too susceptible to rot outdoors, just doesn't seem worth it. The only way I'd do it again, is if I 1.Started indoors in March, do LST, put them out end of May and hope they finish before rot sets in. Jack Herer, Grape Stomped x 3 Bears, and Creme dead la Chem are NOT good to grow in New England, unless you wanna use chemicals, which I do not.
In short, its like a hand job on prom night, as opposed to a righteous piece of pussy or even a standard blow job.
Beta patch grow, Blue Dream garden, on the other hand, is exactly that. A friggin dream. No bugs, borers, critters, healthy and about 6' across the board. Only issue there might be rippers, but tools are in place..
Alpha patch has some healing to do, ill probably feed them tonight out of abuse guilt. Last fed the 17th. However, has shown great growth spurt across the garden. Last note, growing big ass plants in 5 gallon buckets? I did move one and a big tap root snapped that had grown thru the holes in the bottom. So they do tap the earth, probably why they get so big. And that's been my day. Peace and be well.
