Before Vlad can send out the electronic draft notices, the mobiks will know Hell has broken out in Ukraine and the last place they will want to go is there! I think Vlad got behind on the ole power curve, has a chronic manpower shortage in Ukraine made worse daily by idiotic attacks that do no good against well dug in and supported defenses. Ukraine's artillery is both more accurate and longer range and has drone and counterbattery radar support linked by a digital fire control system that multiplies its effectiveness. The Russian causalities have been astronomical due to lack of training, leadership, equipment, intelligence and tactics. The kill ratio for the Ukrainians has been very high, despite it being a slog type battle.

Looks like the Ukrainians are nearly ready, no secret about when roughly, much will be determined by the dryness of the soil and the need to act early before the new mobiks arrive and while the Russians are shorthanded and weak.
