The Russian causalities have been astronomical due to lack of training, leadership, equipment, intelligence and tactics. The kill ratio for the Ukrainians has been very high, despite it being a slog type battle.

Looks like the Ukrainians are nearly ready, no secret about when roughly, much will be determined by the dryness of the soil and the need to act early before the new mobiks arrive and while the Russians are shorthanded and weak.
